It's always the way, I have had a hankering for one of these for ages and as usual every time one has turned up it's just after I've bought something else and I have nowhere to put it. My brother is already looking after the TR7 for me, I think I'd be pushing it if I asked him to store this as well.

Thank God I couldn't remember my eBay password when I was shashed on Saturday morning. Otherwise, this turgid twathammer would probably be mine. I have to say, I wish they made the Turbos in this colour - for extra shite shitting kudos. Mainly involving trips to the garden centre, farting on the dot of 2 o'clock and suspicious quantities of Werther's Original. Matches the interior and the FSH.

 

I would still like a 460 CD so that I could rip the full leather interior out, rearrange it in a slapdash manner in a horrific Stamford hire Transit 'van' and then have someone drive me home with me sat in the load bay swearing because I can't see out of the chipboard when I collect my pension \ visit MaccyD's.

The rear arches on that Cortina look like a MAJOR LEAGUE wobfest, specially the drivers side, I wouldnt lose any sleep over it Triggington

Bet you it used to be red, and would have had a roller door on the back. Ex RM, our local sorting office used to have one iirc.

 

Never mind the back door (or lack of) it's got one slidey door and one regular door. Brilliant!

I think your right, It also seems to have dipped it's belly in a big pot of black tar at some point as well.

Not sure about the stereo in that Lancia but I have the very same Audioline graphic equaliser in a draw somewhere.Maybe I should stick some tacky stripes on my car wire up the equaliser and call it "the hi-fi Maestro"

Beta HI-FI, I've never heard of this special before, I'm guessing that these came with some supa dupa stereo?

 

I'm guessing it's reference to the volume of what most of the body now consists of.
