Anyone else notice where the MOT station that Lotus went to is ? Ash near Canterbury.

 

It could be the Guilton Forge Garage, which is the only garage in the village nowadays, since the Rover dealer shut up shop in the late-1990s. I grew up in the next village and my mother comes from there :)

 

 

That's the place.I just thought it ironic the burnt out Lotus was Mot'd in a village called Ash.

 

My knowledge of east Kent stands me in good stead sometimes ;)

Those cars are f************** great, much better than you would expect. i drove mine all over the shop, up and down to Peterborough lord knows how many times. It just laughed at long journeys, and got its old boy out and wazzed in the face of city driving, stop-start traffic congestion etc.it was a freakin WINNAMOBILE. plus the lasses cant get enough of them - PHAQT.

next years classic banger meetings are .

stoke pre 70 in april, mildenhall pre 70 may , standlake pre 70 august, hednesford pre 68 september and kingslynn pre 70 in november .

 

along with these pre 68/70 meetings . smeathorpe are running an all triumph meeting , swaffham an all cortina meeting and arlington an all p4 p5 rover meeting .
