Paging Trigger: pre-1981 with a biggish engine? You might have enough change out of the Kadett sale for some waxoyl and a dustpan and brush!

Looks as though it was once owned by a vegan however:

That mk1 Sierra is GR9. I had a near identical one a few years back which was immaculate, but sadly written off by a school run mum going right up my backside in a Toyota Picnic :(

These early Ghias are fantastically well built cars and seemingly immune to rust - A reg on the quality dipped massively.

It also has the mega rare ribbed rear light units which were only on the very earliest ghias - I searched high and low for a pair of those as far back as 1997 and couldnt get them for love nor money. I predict in a few years the OLDSKOOLFORD brigade will be paying ridiculous money for those.

You know how certain cars almost always seem to attract two bob muppets?

'I have done a few eligant mods'

No you haven't, you twat, you've fugging ruined it with stupid, pointless Barry'd up crap. You've ruined what was probably a nice, early example of these cars and white ones look the best imho

The Gammy is nice, i was looking at the photos last night but i'm not a brave enough man to buy something like that!, The Sierra on the other hand is smart, and cheap and would make an ideal replace my my old Mk3 Escort, But it's still a bit boring isn't it?.

I love old British made sports cars - they are like a mobile spot the parts source competition. :)

Be like Mr Lobsta....

He's called Herbert apparently, and sadly I want it, despite his obviously crunchy extremities.

Or are you feeling flush?

This has given me the RITE HORN. It's a thing of beauty, it's in good nick and a terrible colour. Says it has a 1.0litre lump, I thought they only had 845 or 1108? Whatever, I wonder if I can part ex a kidney? (Don't worry, they're pretty fucked).

The late R4's did get a 1.0 engine, after the old 845 which was from a previous generation to the 1108 engine was pensioned off.

Was thinking it may be the 950 engine from the supercinque? Whatever, i love that.

One of these is on my list of "wants", but I suspect it won't be this one!

£3,300 for a Nova and it's worth every last penny of that...

Lush.

I had a Nova Sport back in around 1992, mine had white BMW steelies on it that the previous owner had fitted. It was a complete dog to drive 'normally', those 40's made it only possible to go slowly or flat-out - which meant screaming tyres, torque-steer and an utterly fantastic noise. It did under 20 mpg, much less if you booted it.

During it's time with me it was stolen and recovered in Liverpool (I live in Essex) and had a clout in the rear wing from a 1920's Bugatti race-car.

I'd have another in a heartbeat, they have so much character.

This looks like it could be an amusing thing to blez about in, even if it does desperately need some bigger wheels. Too far away from me or I might well be having a punt.

Norn Irish plates FTW!

Surely that has to be a shoe in for the ugliest ford competition?

WANT! Only in Hoylake as well.

That's the one I was offered (and mentioned on here) recently. Fat Baz works with a mate of mine and is bang into Rovers, I reckon there's room for manouver (manouvre?) in that price too as I'm sure he told me £450.
