This makes my head hurt

"This drives like a 1974 Range Rover so although it looks like a P38 it certainly doesn't drive like one, so dont expect a modern feel car."

The biggest giveaway to this heap is its location. 'Sidcup Kent'. That tells you all you need to know about the type of dribbling inbreds that knocked this together.

Nice, un-scene wrecked Beetle anyone? Looks like a plate rape job to me but nice looking old bus....

Coming soon to a show near you soon with Empi wheels and an Iron Cross sticker on the boot probably. Or some 'original' card who'll lob a roofrack full of shit or a surboard on the roof.

I have a lot of love for these thanks to half an hour in Beverly Norris' red one sometime in 1987, though would probably hate one as a daily.

Would rather have a Trab with 1100cc Polo engine

This is a nice listing:

I quite like these in a total shit kind of way. Poor mans Morgan innit, you can imagine some lovely eccentric bloke having it as his pride and joy.

Next Beetle going to have will be a red or green one. Still has 6v electrics a bit useless for a daily use one I guess, but ok as a summer roundaround.

These were made somewhere near Pinxton, think they used engines and transmissions from Cortinas.

My Mrs told me that if I buy another car that I can forget about setting foot in the house ever again. ^ Problem solved :D

Appalling feedback, spazzy write up and this little gem thrown in for good measure

'here we have opel corsa from germany if you ask me better as there more solid than uk cars'

OH RLY? So being built in the same fucking factory as the rest of them but having a different set of badges to the UK version makes it better does it? I also like how this German model is right hand drive. Twat.

1300 engine with Nova Sport engine pack, twin 40 Webers, Airbox

but....

and only needs carbs setting up properly

No surprise there, I had a Nova Sport back in the day and it was an utter pig to set-up. I know sod all about such stuff, but a succesion of mechanic mates/rolling road tuners could not keep the carbs set up properly for more than about 4-500 miles. The power delivery was either very casual or very manic - nothing inbetween. Great fun!

Especially as a '74 RR has a 100" wheelbase and a P38 is 108". If it has got a Classic chassis it must be from an LSE which didn't appear until the early 90s, either way it screams AVOID

It's gone now. Aren't they all built in Spain?

GR8 NEWS, GANG!

This little honey is now nesting comfortably on my driveway.

It's a right nice thing. Perhaps presenting with slightly more 'giffer wounds' than the ad implied, but its still pretty straight, totally unrusty and makes that lovely peppy vroomy noise that only these small peugeots can. Came with a massive wodge of bills & receipts too, indicating that someone looked after it properly. I think I will take it for a blezz up the farm road later to see if anything falls off, then get it in for a test pronto.

That looks ace. Very good for the money.
