The weekend has landed. All that exists now are Alfas, Orions, Ladas and British Leyland . I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. The free radicals inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Talbot Tagora, I'm Proton Persona, I'm going to never-never land with my Toyota Camry, man. We're gonna get more bangers then than scrappage scheme ever did, anything could happen tonight, you know? This could be the best night of my life. I like the t-bird, but it's got the wrong engine. and needs an ECU to run.

I am biding my time with the Ital estate. its been knocking around ebay for months and months, he hasn't twigged yet its not worth what he's asking. around 500 quid is more realistic IMO.

Crap photos, but this is SRSLY cheap for a car with nearly a year's test. I've had a couple of these and they're quite a pleasant conveyance.

I like that Astra. Not sure what the last photo is showing - a "here's what it could look like" shot maybe? As he states the car hasn't been painted yet..... But then says he's keeping the wheels. Maybe it's a mid-work shot with the wheels but pre-welding. 1.2/10 for advert writing skills.

Still, a two-tone brown Mk1 Astra with a 2.0 16v engine has got to be worth a chuckle. I'd leave it on the rusty steels too.

This looks like it could be interesting, although I'd be dubious about having a K series mounted so far away from the radiator...

Should be alright, it works in the MGF. To a fashion. Would be easy to spot and sort an inlet gasket fail with the engine mounted that way too. I declare WIN.

Yeah, but it's GR0.375 for avoiding airlocks in the cooling system, which is not something a K series will cope with particularly well. Rod/b has a point though - at least the engine will be a lot easier to work on in a nice open Estelle engine bay than jammed in the middle of an MGF.
