This lovely old Hiace camper has to be a bargain at this price. If my experience of these is anything to go by, you could show up with a battery and a can of petrol, jump in and drive to Scotland. Sadly I R skint or I'd be sorely tempted.

This must be quite obscure

True. In a "No bugger ever bought these" type obscure way.

A bit like a low mileage Metro - No one wanted to drive it!

There was an MX3 with a similar conversion at Marham a couple of years ago. Went like hell and sounded amazing (straight through exhaust). I had a boggo 1.8 V6 MX3 and that was great fun to drive, but could have used a bit more power - I can imagine a 2.5 being quite a machine.

 sorry Rebuilda!

That Ambassador is fantastic! :D

No apology required, I'd be the first person to hold my hands up and say they are not quite 'right'. Got to have a sense of humour to drive one thats for sure.

We each have our own favourites and anyone who tries to preserve english motoring heritage is a winner in my book.

On the bright side, at least its not a Dutton Sierra.

I've just done that in a round about way. :)

I've heard rumors of a place like this just off the A90, near a prison- came from 2 different people about 8 years aprt.. story goes he has 5 or 6 X1/9's in a barn,a load of old and rare Italian stuff and a field full of old tat..If it is the same place, they old guy is very secretive and won't tell anyone what he's got, and doesn't treat trespassers very kindly. Got this from a guy who got a diesel engined Aston DBS from there!. He won't tell me where it is either..

Sounds like a load of crap, but I hear snippets every now and again, which fires up my interest again. Must take a run up on the bike one day.

Wow a diesel Asoton DBS sounds good, i hope it was an ex-combine harvester Perkins 6.254 or whatever theyre called

I purposely havent posted any more pictures & havent even taken any because this auction is for people to bid after they have viewed & know exactly what they are bidding for & we can discuss anything regarding the outcome of the auction while you are here. I am only doing it this way to avoid timewasters, I will if a buyer is found from its other advertising remove this auction. Should you bid without viewing be prepared to speak to me like a serious buyer would.

I dont understand the watching thing, what exactly are you all watching?

[/qYou are an absolute legend, I see how many cars you list & take my hat off to you. Ignore the idiot comments & please continue to keep us amused with your excellent charm, wit & humour. I am so glad to hear that I have been a good influence on your success in the way you advertise. Keep it up & you never know I may even invite you to drive our reasonably priced car.
