HEY, anyone fancy a paperwork battle with the DVLA? If so, buy this massive steaming pile of Romanian-built WIN for just €300, its only got 8500km from new and runs perfect, but the reg document is lost.

Nice find! I was trying to find these obscure beasties as a matter of interest just last week.

This is what I love about Autoshite - my knowledge of now-rare, utilitarian or unusual cars increases all the time.

Gah! First Mr Bollox pumps le porn into my lounge, then it gets topped off with a Rover 827 Vitesse! I think my eyes are actually melting. Anyone want a Land Rover?

Well yummy. Love the side-on pic. Looks like it could do about 300mph.

£1k ? Un.....nah.

I think £1000 is not unreasonable for that!

That 1100 taxbreakvan (advertised as Simca 1100 AS 3 portes!) is wonderful. How about this, even just for the seat covers?

Somehow I would love another, even though mine never really worked well I quite liked it...

827 Vitesse is about £1000 above my current daily budget. I have no monies, just an old worthless Nissan sat in a lock-up 200miles away that somehow manages to consume lots of monies

Definitely not! Looks stunning.

EDIT - Today's car I'd never heard of. Princess rear lights!!

Only £600 with Mini running gear. Got to be value.

Sorry Pog but no. An Eighties, German super-barge needs HUGE profile tyres. Ones that could allow you to hit a kerb straight-on at 70mph and not notice it was there. I guess I just like rubber...

This was for a time owned by Alex 'Wedge' of this parish and McDroitwich.

I've been after one of these for a while just on the grounds of being a bit wierd.

Vauxhall Astra mk3 Si. It's a really strange trim level with cool grey/black seats, odd wheel trims, etc.:

Unfortunately, they replaced one seat with a boring grey one. This is only down the road, but the bent wheel puts me off.

Two of the chaps on MacDroitwich have owned that. In fact the photos are pinched from one of them.

Here it is parked up:

Here's an RX-5 (121 coupe with a rotary engine) for €750. I have never seen another of these for sale anywhere in Europe EVAR apart from that burgundy one that does the shows here in UK, and which got put on ebay a year or two ago for £12k. The engine of this one is fooked apparently.

Mike D you need one of these!! You'll get one shiply'd home for £350-400 or so if the seller is even slightly helpful about blowing tyres up and that and making it accessible to a transporter whose 'meter is running'. I will communicate with the seller for you. Lets make it happen!

The 5 is the only RX I don't like! I want a hardtop.... I reckon it'd be a nice addition to the Bollox museum, after the 929 has found its way to mine obviously :D

Posted

Fair enough!!! I have to say in all honesty I don’t think my 929 koop will be coming up for sale anytime soon, but if it does i'll call you first!!

In the mean time, if anyone else on here has a serious urge to buy one of these old turds off LeBonCoin but don't fancy trying to drive it home, base your calcs on approx 70-75p/mile delivery cost to your door, and if your finances are up to that and you're still keen get in touch with me.

I thank god that A) I don't have a thousand pounds, and B) I'm beginning to control the delerium tremens that cause spasming of my eBay finger.

Yes, I like 800s. It's a personal problem I have to deal with.

Verging on bargain territory, or a fair price?

Couriers are mega rare and so rarely for sale that I imagine price is difficult to gauge. I'd suggest that's certainly not cheap and a little time spent tidying it up would have made it more presentable for the money they're asking. Seats are all out of a 13/60 estate. Nice that its still got its grey steering wheel and other bits still.
