It's what the new SVA-type test is called.

Not quite right (it's a bloody mind-mashing mess as I've discovered!). SVA still exists. People like Nobel use it so they don't have to meet mass-produced type approval I believe.IVA is targetted at imports and the like and BIVA is Basic IVA which is more tailored for home-builds/modifications.

But will I have to get my car BIVAd if I fit a new radio and have to enlarge the hole in the dashboard?? Will the MOT man dob me in to the Feds if i do not have the original 1968 radio fitted? How many points is a radio worth anyway? Etc etc.

I think you've missed the point Mr Bol. If you submit your car for test and they discover your Cliff Richard cassettes, they will DESTROY your car on the spot thanks to new EU legislation. Also, bumpers are not allowed to be too bendy.

This seller has cleverly failed to put the make, model etc in the title so may be cheap? Loks lovely. Sure I recognise the reg plate from somewhere.

JKX 511 N Was a Victor run by Nick Larkin when he worked at Practical Classics IIRC.. he bought it for under a hundred quid. Reason I remember the reg is that after he sold the car on it ended up being owned by a bloke I know in the borders, who wrote it off. Green one must have been from the same dealer

I am the third owner of this BMW. I bought it 22 years ago, and it's been in storage for the last four years. The last MOT and tax was four years ago. The car is in good condition, with a little rust in the boot, which is expected in a car of it's age, nothing that can't be repaired. Buyers must view before bidding.

Hope this helps......

Yeah, but they've cleverly managed to land it smack in the laps of the hoards of buyers that log on every day, feverishly searching to find a model (any model) of which only five hundred were made. You didn't think of that did you Bollz?

Check out the monitor for the reversing camera!

I thought it was one of those things fisherman have on their boats to detect fish?

Anyone with better eyesight than me able to read the numberplate surround? Looks like I can't stop for the top line but can't read the bottom.

First person to see will snap my fingers off.Probably worth viewing that Range Rover just to do this.
