Norwegian tat (cars for sale in Norway)

And the used car in Norway that has been for sale the longest is still for sale. It has been for sale since 2008 and I have known about it since 2010 it was overpriced for a long time and this together with the fact that most people do not like French cars here, it has never been sold.

And whatever the hell this is. Answers on a postcard, please.

It’s a Kewet Buddy. https://www.buddyelectric.no

I’d like to apologise on behalf of my country… although I think they’re originally Danish.

(Do the kids still say "phat" nowadays?)

No clue. I said "radical" to my 11 y/o half brother and he just looked at me funny.

That's a beauty! Price looks OK to me, too. Although I am quite stupid.

I am too so do not know if the price is ok, but this is really a beauty.

1978 Dodge pickup with Mitsubishi diesel. These were actually delivered with this engine for a short while and are rare. This has been for sale many times in recent years with several owners and I guess the engine is impossible to find parts for like most old stuff from Japan is.  4100 punds.

I think Mitsubishi and Dodge had a thing going on way back , they did a similar thing with the 6g72 3.0 V6 that's in my Sigma back in the early 90s . Decent American parts company should be able to find stuff

Yes Chrysler and Mitsubishi collaborated for a while. And I think parts for this are difficult as so few of them were sold and have probably not survived so many. Is a little more information about these diesel Dodge ones here

And Dodge used some Mitsubishi models as their own like the Dodge Colt

1963 Vauxhall Victor super 1.5 138,000 km with little rust. This has K registration plates, which indicates that it was sold new in the far south of Norway. It is now in the mountains in Norway where there is no road salt so the seller has used it daily this winter and says it is very reliable, easy to start and with a good heater 3700 punds.

There was a bit of co-operation going on in the early 90s, my 1990 leBaron had a Mitsubishi 3.0V6.  As for the pickup, wouldn't it be easy enough to slip a proper Mopar V8 in that bay?

The best thing would probably have been on the pickup to change the engine to a V8. But Norway is strict and cumbersome about such things. You must have documentation from the vehicle manufacturer to change the engine, and any brakes suspensjon etc. must match the new engine. And when all this is done, the vehicle must be taken to the authorities and checked and inspected thoroughly.

Even with lowering kits, one must have the correct documentation and the car must be taken to the authorities and checked and one must show the documentation for this to be legal.

I know the MX5 owners here have struggled as Mazda has not wanted to help with anything. So they can not make engine changes or put on turbo on these.

Looks like Dark Aubergine to me

Cars in Colour - Page 3 - AutoShite - Autoshite

Which suggests that it is factory.  I'm sure I've seen them that colour anyway.  They did some beautiful shades in those days, such a contrast to now.

Thanks for sharing. And was not aware that these Mondeos came in so many in interesting colors. Feels like everyone I've seen of these was gray.

But the first owner of the one for sale should be praised for buying the car with such a color and engine. wish more did.
