In the 1970s, Japanese cars really took off here and many were bestsellers. And I remember that in some old episodes of Trafikkmagasinet they weren't so positive about Japanese cars, I don't understand why. So maybe Swedes had some strange opinions about Japanese cars and that's why they sold so little there? Or maybe we were just more open to trying something new and quickly found out that the Japanese cars were better, which is why they sold so well here.
