My brother's goose and duck crematorium burnt down.

Do you think the insurance will sort all the bills ?

So do I. I love her to bits. She has been there for me through everything and I hate to see her suffering

Tbh being able to live in the same house as you for more than 3 straight weeks means she's probably a keeper!

Best of luck man

And I can sort of sympathise as Amy is Jimmy Saville's playground right now with the boy. He fell out of bed and smacked his head on the floor, then when we bought him downstairs so he didnt wake Eva up crying he was sick... There's no stopping her when that happens so I just got his bag ready. By the time we did all that he put his own shoes on and ran to the car in excitement! Amys face was hilarious, but she still went

Zafira is making a clonking noise! Kerry from No13 sat with the kids for 20 minutes earlier and Amy took me for a spin. Hollow rythmic knocking noise at 35/40mph! Bastard! Drives fine though, can't feel it through the body. I spent 10 minutes literally beating the shit out of it to make it knock, jacked each front corner up and hung off the wheels every way I could, grabbed the old trusty shitter fleece and got under, nothing up at all...

So fuck it, MOT can be booked any time now, I'll lob it in and see what it fails on. ECP Happy Chinese BubbleGum & Automotive Manufacturer Corp whole lower arms are £20 each withouth the daily end of the world offer, that'll knock 3 likely things off in a strike. The new drop links have either transferred the fucked to the next weakest point, or it's just doing a vauxhall!

Gareth wants to change his car soon, I've been offered the Mazda5 for £100 or so...

Daughter wants to go see this on Saturday:

Paugeot 207 cab

In two minds about it. Probably a better bet than her ruined Fiesta.  I'm wary of cabriolets with automatic rooves, so much to go wrong.

I reckon their going to be the £200 summer shitter car of choice in 4/5 years when their fully worthless!

Like I always remember Saab 9-3's being, but they've crept up in price recently

Bloke I worked with went out to buy lunch to asda. And when he got there and tried to close the roof if failed half closed.

Apparently the manual crank takes an hour.

Plus you can annoy everyone at 5am by being sat in the car going :

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

"roof goes down"

"roof goes up"

Then swearing when it pops a fuse and lets out the electric smoke mid way through folding back down..

You probably wouldn't even need to be sat in the car for it to do that, or near it at all. Very clever

She has had a SAAB 900 cab that was identical to a 9-3.  I even used to pass one of the same colour and reg - "R".

Her elder sister had two :)

She'd like one again but financial constraints argue against that.  As with the C70 T5.

Currently in hospital. Wife took a turn for the worse. High priority case when I rang 111. An ambulance will be with us in 4 hours. Fuck that,in the van and straight down to derby. Severe migraine attacks again. Slurred speech and blurry vision. Dumped the van in 1 of the 10 waiting area car parks and put blue badge in window. I am not well enough with my walking today to go traipsing round the grounds so half expecting a ticket too. Oh joy. Hate hospitals.

Bugger! Hope it all goes well lad.

.

Ms SOC has been running one of these as a daily for about a year now, it's been no problem apart from the comical lack of room in the back.

Aren't these of the age where peugeot was just coming out of their utterly shit phase? So probably more bulletproof than anything 3 or 4 years older

My mind is blown that you found a suppler of 9/16 spanners in Austria - feck knows where I'd get any in Derbyshire/Notts/Leics - except a car boot sale of course.

It wasn't difficult to find Imperial tools at all after the weekend, this Aladdin's palace of tools wasn't far from where we were staying: https://www.innwerkzeug.at/

Actually clicked on the advert now, I paid under half that for a newer one with less miles a year ago. Hth ;)

Yeah, it's good. Fun to drive, easy to service and the roof is actually less complicated than it looks.

Excellent - she says she has some more lined up too so there could be a cheaper solution.

Sounds like she needs an MGF

Fecking CeX: Ordered hard drive, received suspiciously light parcel today, open it, get invoice for hard drive, only to have the contents be a DVD collection of All the Small Things instead of a 500 gigabyte hard drive.

Can't blame them for their customer service though. All sorted for now.

My previous experience of hard drives from CeX has made me just buy new when it comes to hard drives.

She likes her sister's MX5 but wants more room - the 207 may be a bit small for her.

She likes her sister's MX5 but would need to fit a boot rack and remove the useless spare wheel

FTFY. We used to go camping for a fortnight with no storage issues in my 5, they can store quite a bit on the parcel shelf too if you fit the boot net from a KA to keep it in.

The boot is huge on the 207 when the roof is up and there is a nicely upholstered shelf where you'd normally find back seats.

Wife still in hospital. Lumbar puncture didn't go to plan. She has numerous injection marks up her spine and still no joy. Got to go in theater today or tomorrow to be seen by a spinal surgeon. Feel so lost without her. Feel lonely at home too. Spent 40 quid on petrol in last two days and now in debt with the petrol station as something went out my bank today leaving insufficient funds in the bank when I tried to pay on card after I'd filled up too. Fuck sake. Anxiety issues currently in overdrive

Feel for you Bub, its no fun having your loved one banged up, especially with uncertain outcomes, whilst you battle the sheer bloody cost of it....I don't think some folk realise what extra costs mount up in these situations.
