I, unfortunately, have also found that my forehead seems to be getting bigger, and that is in addition to the fact that what hair is left is going grey at a fair rate. Can't really worry, though, cos it won't do any good. However, the grey can NOT be dyed. I'm actually getting quite used to it.On the genetics theory, I have my own take. I reckon baldness skips a generation. My dad still has a full head in his late sixties, but grandad Sporty was as bald as a bald thing as long as I knew him. Looks like it's a Bobby Charlton for me, then.

I didn't get to Scot Lane to find out...... Must cruise through tomorrow, to have a peep. Completely forgot it was there, thanks for the heads up!!

'Wild At Heart'.Listen Stephen Tompkinson, you had your fucking day in the sun a long while back and being a cretinous, monotonous TWAT doesn't equate to a good viewing experience. Now kindly fuck right off.

I have heard this hypothesis too and subscribe to it myself. My dad was bald at forty. My brother and I , 58 & 62 respectively, both have all our hear, although I have had a 'thin' spot from very early teens. My eldest son, 31, is starting to grow through his hair.

whats the problamo Mr P ?
Nothing that isn't my own doing, but sometimes things seem a good idea at the time. Without exception, these things then proceed to bite you on the ass.I am however having fun being bitten, as it were.

Pillock i hope all is well soon :) I'm sure "IT" will work out okay ... ?And sorry myglaren, but it really did make me laugh.

Sodding ASUS motherboards. That's the second one I've had thats pegged it the last 4 weeks. Gigashite ones are scarcely any better, and the only other ones I can source locally in a hurry ar MSI, which are shit.

Aye I’ll second most of that. I don’t have many problems with Gigabyte boards but the failure rates of recent incarnations of the other two are laughably high.

If folk won’t pay for Intel I’m quite happy to use Asrock. They’re ITshite – lacking in brand kudos, cheap and reliable. We fit loads of 478 & 775 boards on contract without any bother at all:

It is the commitment to our customers and products, like the spirit presented in our maxim:

"Motherboard, We Master It!"

etc.

Good call, Chester! Just ordered an ASRock skt 775 off eBay. For £28 new, if it works at all it'll be a bonus. Ta!

Today, I am mostly proper pissed off.Came back to my car in work car park this afternoon, and thought the back screen looked a bit steamed up, but seeing as it's a bit damp inside, thought nothing of it. Got in, slammed the door, and BOSH, the fucking rear screen came in.Security didn't see anything, the cameras are fucked and the site manager thought I was trying to pull a fast one when I told him about it, even though I told him I wasn't after anything. So that's me 120 plus the VAT lighter, and it can only get done tomorrow or Weds.I'm sick of spunking money on this car for no good reason. I don't even like the thing.Rant over.

People who think they can fit towbars and electrics and don't have a clue what they are doing !!My reverse light stays on Constantly on the Fizzler :( So another thing to Fix.On the upside i got it upto running temperature for the first time in about 2 years, with new engine hoses.Ooh and the interior light now works :) !

Had a spate of this last year. Going to bed earlier is not the solution. I actually started going to bed an hour later, and that worked. Mind you, stress can still f*ck that up pretty nicely! Not nice though. Gawd knows how parents cope with so much sleep deprivation!

Wifes car has 2 rusty doors and some cock poured some brake fluid on the bootlid before she got it.On another forum a guy was getting red of 4 doors and a bootlid in exactly her cars colour for practically nothing. But they've been weighed in now. Sooooooooooooooooooo pissed.

Hmmm. I'll let you know in a few weeks  I struggle sleeping quite a lot of nights. Try and get to bed by 11.00, always wake up a few times in the night and as often as not struggle to get back to sleep. Then alarm goes off at 5.45. Combine that with three and a half hours a day getting to work and back and I feel permenantly tired as well. With the baby due in just over two weeks this is not a situation thats about to get any better I imagine...

Im completely the opposite , in the summer i cant sleep very well at all , 4 or 5 hours max , in the winter though i become a dormouse and sleep 8 - 10 hours easy , dose off in the afternoons at weekends , no energy whatsoever , just want to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Garages. Again. My normal place was booked out until the end of March and my C4 was 500 miles over its service interval. I asked around and was recommended a place near work. I'm not going to name them because that would be childish. If you would like me tell and you live in my area, feel free to fire me off a PM.Anyway, car goes in and I asked for the following to be done:1. Oil and air filter to be changed (minor service, as dictated by the Citroen schedule).2. New track rod ends and lower balljoints to be fitted, both sides.3. Adjust handbrake.Fatha_Wat takes it in for me because of the shifts I'm working. I hear nowt back from him all day which is very strange because he likes to keep in contact. I figure something's gone tragically wrong or they've still got the car or something. I needn't have wondered. I get in and Fatha_Wat tells me I owe him £470.I'll print that again for you. FOUR HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FUCKING QUID.I nearly fell over. I ask him how the hell it can cost that. He tells me that they muttered some bollocks about the track rod ends being 'seized on' and that they took 6 hours to get off. Yes, on a three year old car, Chinny does reckon.I supplied my own parts for the job. Some garages do not like you supplying your own parts because they can't bum you for some ridiculous rate. I suspect this is what's happened here. They've behaved like some sulky little shit of a five year old with a smacked arse because they couldn't have total control over the situation and the bill. Please bear in mind that I asked them over the phone whether they minded me supplying my own parts and they said, 'Yes, that's fine, but we prefer OEM stuff.' And yet. When fatha_Wat took it there, they prodded and poked and whinged and said that the parts 'weren't right' and that they 'couldn't take them back'. I explained on the phone that they were OEM bits that I got matched off the VIN number at the Citroen garage, so they weren't likely to be wrong. Now, reading into the situation, I think they've taken umbrage to what I've done and very grudgingly done the work and taken ages as a kind of 'fuck you' gesture, because they couldn't bill me for the parts. Why did I supply my own parts? Because for some reason with that car, the 3rd party places (i.e. Andrew Page) always get it wrong. They sent the wrong type of disc FIVE TIMES to my last place followed by the wrong pads. You have to wonder sometimes.I was expecting a bill of £250 maximum, and if I'd have had the time, I'd have done them myself. I will be doing so in the future. I will be going round tomorrow on my day off and asking them politely what the fuck they were playing at. I will also be asking to see the old track rod ends that were 'seized on'.I hope for their sake the car drives brilliantly, else Trading Standards will be getting a call. Robbing cunts.

**** me!!!! We paid about that for 2 services (parts supplied), having a rocker cover gasket and timing belt and tensioners done on the Subaru and you know how much of a pig it is to get at the side of the engine on a boxer engined car.Another guy who used to prepare rally cars has quoted about £100 plus the parts we're supplying to do 2 lower control arm bushes, ball joints and steering rack mount bushes on the Subaru as well.

I'd like to say it gets better. However constant awakenings at 2.30am by a 16 year old who thinks I'm asleep as he shouts down his headphone things to other XBOX people tells me different.I've absolutely no interest in the fact that someone is sneaking up on 'Dazzer' with a machine gun or that my son is on a hiding behind a tank.Oh well, time to turn the interwebz off before I go to bed I think.

Shit me !I need to get myself a garage going sharpish !With prices like that i could buy a whole new car

If you want to sleep, I suggest cutting out caffeine and doing a full day's work. When you get in, you won't be able to keep yourself upright.

Not getting a decent night's sleep. I always have problems sleeping (whether due to an active mind, stress, guilty conscience I have no idea) but it's got much worse. It's now got to the point that I am going to bed earlier and earlier just to try to get a few hours kip in, I might get a couple of hours, or perhaps just one, then I'm awake for another hour or two, might get another hour or so, then awake again. This pattern repeats throughout the night until 6am when the alarm goes off. I'm permanently knackered, by four in the afternoon I'm yawning and almost dropping off (I need to be awake then to drive home). I have tried all the obvious, reduced caffeine, more exercise, cut down on alchohol, medication, including prescription medication etc. Short of asking to work nights I'm running out of ideas

I feel for you.........I'm suffering from the same symptoms for the last 9 years, it's bloody murder it is..................

I recently changed oil and filter on wifes Picasso, I rang nearest Citroen dealer for price first, was quoted £125 plus vat

Hope your situation improved SirTB.I am slightly concerned that if I can't really sleep without having a few beers before bed now. If I try without, I will wake up after 5 hours and feel like shit all day.

Well I just slept for roughly 20 hours..... I think I have a problem :(

No problems with the shuteye here either. A normal length night's sleep for me is 8-10hrs, but I can nod off at any time during the day if I fancy it.Like Barrett, I am more than capable of having a massive sleepathon as well.Sleeping rules.
