^I've not been on here loads so I've missed that

 

My grump is other road users, i was heading home from work last night and a smackhead looking, mouth breathing scrotum cut straight across 2 lanes of a roundabout without warning, causing me to jam my brakes on and blast my horn or my wing would have got it, anyway the guy carried on his way without even the way of a hazard flash or a simple wave to acknowledge he was in the wrong, as we were part way down the slip road the fucker brake checked me, carried on a bit did it again, so I indicated to him to stop, pulled up along side to ask what his problem was, luckily the road was clear or I wouldnt have done it, his reply "well you were fucking beeping at me on the roundabout" what the actual fuck, i gave him a mouthful about Lane discipline and looking before you complete a manoeuvre, he came back with "I'll fucking twat you in a min" yes I now knew the measure of this guy from his actions and how he was talking, so I asked him to follow me then, he looked confused by this, so I drove nice and steady so he could follow me and he shot off at the nearest opportunity, I wasn't at all surprised to be fair.

The election has made me rather sick of uneducated opinion (and I spouted enough of it myself) so can we just enjoy cars and pretend the country isn't being run by a bunch of absolute arseholes?

Another fucked FrontLine track rod end. At a smidge over 3000 miles, this did better than the last one (900 miles). The original MG Rover ones lasted 10 years and nearly 40K miles.

The more I drive the more I think my new knocking is coming fro mthe front drivers side wheel... Knocks differently to how it did before though, but it doesnt sound like it's coming solely from the back (a bit comes from the back, but not all of it)

Knobjockey on ebay bought my jag. To be collected 3 days after the auction. We agreed he'd pay deposit via paypal- and send rest to my account.

 

Car ended sunday. Txt today saying he doesnt want to pay outside of Paypal.

Girlfriend had her iPhone pinched on Monday, so she called Orange and got the phone blocked and asked for a replacement sim. No problem we will send a new sim card out said Orange. We then went and bought her another iphone and waited for the replacement simcard to arrive...... still nothing received so she chased them up this morning and guess what? Yep you guessed it !!

 

4 days of waiting for something that was never even sent, fuckin imcompetent wankers.

Dvla letter waiting for me when I finished work. Told me they are considering enforcement on a failure to pay road tax on my corsa which was scrapped beginning of April. Rang number up to be told they won't do anything till they receive logbook or I send them a letter with details of who bought car, date I sold it etc. I told him that there is no way I'm posting a letter out at my expense for something I've already done. Last time the twats tried taking me to court for failure to send in a logbook judge threw case out stating it's their duty to prove they haven't received it not my duty to prove I've sent it. Arseholes

I did get lucky with the 406 though - never got a V5, sent the slip off recorded but then lost the receipt. They claimed they never got it so I was starting to worry, but the replacement turned up about a week later

Well, it had to be done as I am notoriously camera shy so I took a 'selfie'. I have always held the view that I am drop dead gorgeous Adonis of a man. Unfortunately, according to this poxy camera, I am, in actual fact, an ugly white haired old gimmer that would crack mirrors with a single glance. I am distraught....

Been working on the 760 since 3.30pm with as yet no progress. As I am a ham fisted idiot this is rarely a bad thing, but it's now not registering any fuel on the gauge due to my fucking about trying to make it run properly.
