A test. Observe this catalogue picture:

If you wanted to buy the green one, which letter would you say it is? E perhaps?

I must be a stupid bastard 'cos I assumed they would be A to E left to right. E is actually second from left, the one that looks like a cock. Supplier says it's my fault for ordering the wrong one. Twats.

Is it "D"?

Do I win a prize?

Can you sell me a gear knob that looks like mull of kintyre?

Order of pawn designs from left to right  A, E, C, B, D based on size of picture against the options for height (2nd dimension), but it does seem to have been laid out by a complete idiot.

Hope you're okay, Mr Timpole!

@Jakebullet:  what have we told you about buying pawn on the internet?

Paying for pawn on the internet?

You are a pawn star, and that is the correct answer. I'd ignored that it looks taller than the others due to previous 'fun' with finding the catalogue is not to scale.

It's a hate / hate relationship with this supplier as the woman I've got as my 'account manager' hates me in every way possible. Tried telling me if you buy 2000 dice in 5 different colours you don't get the 10,000 price break. Eh? You're putting 10 bags in boxes. What difference does it make which 10 bags? And why have I got the 10k price for the last 3 years then? Fine, I'll buy 2000 then. You're paying the delivery love, if I'm not getting them cheaper you can hold the stock.

AND BREATHE.

Had a bad cold/flu like feeling which took me out for a couple of days. I've not really felt like it in years, pretty much before I gave up smoking 4 or 5 years ago.

Anyhow, it (mostly) went away for a few weeks but has come back in style and I've been bed ridden for two days.

Rumour at work is that they want to cut our current staff levels from 32 to 22, and I can't help but think I'll be in that 10. Not good.........

Not good, but the odd's are you wont be so try not to stress too much, although that is much easier said than done.

Good luck.

Went to pick t'wife up last night after she went to see opera with the school (complete with kids). There are two bus stops behind the school, one where the buses wait & the one next to the shelter where they pick the kids up & drop 'em off. Plus there's a car park across the road. Guess where all the parents were waiting? Yes, that's it, the stop where the buses do their pick up and drop offs. Bunch of morons, where is the bus meant to stop? In the middle of the road apparently. And, oh dear, you can't go screaming off home now, there's a bus in the way. God forbid your little Ivica has to walk more than 30cm in the snow

That's exactly the issue I have when trying to pick up my elderly minibus passengers at Morrisons. I have great fun blocking in the selfish pricks while I load up. Slowly.

Second day I now I have been told the driver is ill and my engine won't be delivered. Only day I have off work too. Won't let me collect either. Does anyone here have a mini or metro automatic engine with box or even just a complete gearbox!

Here's a gripe, something that pisses us all off.  But me mainly.

Why does every twat need to take up two parking spaces with one car? There are four free spaces near my local PO, 15 mins free parking, just press the green button on the ticket machine. Enough time to queue behind the mongs and post a letter or parcel. But as per, there are two cars so badly parked that no bugger else can park there. I was so pissed about that this morning that I reversed one of the master race motors up to some twat's Aygo, gently placed the rubbing strip up against it and let the clutch in (NU CLUCH FITTED) and pushed this sorry shitbox back 3 feet - it was a bit icy still.

I happens where I live too. Just ' I don't give a shit' bloody selfishness. I have two cars here and I occasionally block the main offender in so they can't move - the same one with a dog that barks at 6.30 every morning, waking everyone up.

Posted

Same in my road, 3 cars taking up so much space, leaving almost but not quite enough room for another car to park, if they budged up u could get at least 5 cars in the same space

Feeling quite fed up after reading Bens (smashed R25) and Nigels (Torched cars) threads, life just aint fair sometimes. Hope you both get your fair share of good luck very soon chaps.

Not even in your league Mr Dug. I felt embarassed even posting it.

Sore down my right side as he crashed into me at the driver's side frontish area.

Just pissed that it'll probably get written off and the excess etc. will be more than it's worth leaving me with no money and no car and 70 miles to work a day.

I do have it on video from the guy following me though, looks piss poor to how it felt in the car.

It's a bad dose of flu that stopped me smoking in 2012.  I was already down to 4-5 Marlboro Shites a day and then caught this flu that was like aids and ebola combined. I ached and sweated like a bastard for 2.5 weeks, was on the bog 6 times a day shitting my brains out, couldn't sleep for 4 days at a time and had eyes like red hot coals.

It was so bad that if someone had sold me there was a free Laguna 11 outside with the keycard in the ignition for the taking, that wouldn't have got me up.

But I didn't have a fag for those 2 1/2 weeks and just didn't fancy one once I was on the mend. Not had one since.

Had to remove the sill repair on the Princess to shave a fraction of an inch off the closing plate to make it fit properly at the trailing edge.  Did that, all ready to go back together, made a little repair piece for the arch and put one tack down before the gas bottle decided to be completely empty.  Balls.

Not weighed it has he??

ABS problem cheaply cured by a nifty bit of wiring behind the cluster taking power from low fluid warning light. Depending on whether it has ASC or DSC, decent used ECU is 50 quid. I've just sold one. Also got a pair of Touring rear shocks in good nick that I can't give away.
