Popular Post dozeydustman Posted January 20, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2020 Driving around all day everyday I get to see a fair amount of old chod on the roads and rusting rammel on driveways. Been meaning to do this thread for some time now, so here’s what I’ve seen over the past few months. Retr0naut, Amishtat, Craig the Princess and 64 others 67
DVee8 Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Yow have the best chod spotting job going.. SiC, Jerzy Woking, dozeydustman and 1 other 4
Stinkwheel Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Some really excellent stuff in there. I’m really liking the S reg Citroen GS personally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Parky 1
Timewaster Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I guess the sign in the window of the yellow car (early tvr or a kit?) says something like "not for sale, piss off"
barrett Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 That GS is great. I spotted it a year or so ago, so nice to see its still there. The piles of building materials suggest a house reburb, or possibly new owner, so I wonder if it'll be sent off for scrap soon...? Be a shame to turn it to bin cans even if it can't be saved. Kringle, Stinkwheel, Burnside and 8 others 11

Most interesting stuff I come across has a handwritten note that suggests the owners have had enough of the pikeys a knocking. When I had an old transit on the drive, it was every other day! Until I actually wanted to sell it. Twiggy 1
anonymous user Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Lovely stuff, my particular favourites the 1970s escapee Minor and the Volvo Amazons

Expand I’ve been working in Chichester for 4 and a half years, I think this car has been there for that long at least. The door bottoms are starting to look frilly. Next to it, under the tarp, is a Deux chevaux vapeur. Burnside, Kringle, Stinkwheel and 1 other 4

The crews I work with normally point out a Ferrari or some other swanky motor going to/from Goodwood, whereas I tend to point out a Bluebird or some other wanky motor. dozeydustman Posted January 20, 2020 Author Posted January 20, 2020 Another one from my photo library of spots, very remiss of me to not put in the original post! Burnside, jumpingjehovahs, Dick Cheeseburger and 9 others 12
Parky Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 That GS definitely needs a note under the windscreen. Unlike an FTP, the number plate suggests it is “Ready to proceed” 500tops and strangeangel 2
155V6 Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 That GS has been there a while.I took this picture when I worked for MFI,and they went bust in 2008! djim, michael t, Burnside and 5 others 8
Mr_Bo11ox Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Excellent spots there. 10/10! Always find it really cheering to see all this old shit still cluttering up streets and gardens up and down the land. Lovely! UltraWomble, RobT, dozeydustman and 4 others 6 1
strangeangel Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Fair do's, you've got some proper old chod on your round. Great pics. Apart from the GS obvs, I especially enjoyed the Leyland horsebox(?). djim 1

I think that one is D702SWLHaha I really didn’t - as a bit of a rover fan I always revert my eyes to similar bodies Had an mb6 for a bit and it was pretty rapid - the vti with the vtec 1.8 (b16a4?) in it. Rusted same place as the rovers but the interior was more velour and more Japanese. Not a landy fan so I averted my eyes!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

dozeydustman Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 The property with the Rover also had a mushroom coloured Cortina Mk1 under a tarp. Burnside, strangeangel and BL Bloke 3
Cheggers Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 I think I also papped the GS a few years ago. Great pics DD dozeydustman 1

Tenmil Socket Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 When I first opened this thread I thought it said 'Found in the bins' i.e. items that have been disposed of which may also make a great thread? Some nice spots BTW...
yellowperil Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 I spend my day spotting cars on the rounds, but would get into trouble if I posted any on the net, I wish it weren't so. Some of the highlights are... The little Datsun 1200 that Spottedlaurel has, when it's original owner had it. A G reg mk1 Capri. A Skoda Estelle. A house with four really nice Scorpio shaped Granadas and a Cougar outside. A Mazda 323 Turbo 4x4. A really long Pigsnout Transit van/ pick up. This maybe the one that was on a thread in here a few months ago. The one that had me most amazed was a Vauxhall Firenza Droopsnoot, I only got to find that one because the cover blew off it, I had been wondering what it was.
