Apparently the P4 Driver's Guild [yes, really] go a bit apoplectic if you fit new fangled radial tyres......they're going to love this..............

I was watching this on ebay too.

It has a certain charm about it and you've moved it down south nearer to me.

Come and have a look after I've spent 3 days getting from Selby to Maidstone..........

No - they'll feel you coming....

A buffed up stock P4 does absolutely nothing for me.

But a scruffy one with the wrong engine and tired interceptor wheels that looks like Fred in a shed has done the all the graft on it is so so cool.

Apparently, the guy who did the work had another one with a TDI  [not sure which one] from a Discovery with a manual box.........he chopped that and this one into a dealer against something else

What is the silver horizontal thing under the steering column?

Power steering?

I'd have preferred something a bit more nuts like a Lexus V8 conversion, but nevertheless I like.

Yup..electric power steering.....might box that in.......looks like it would probably have you off at the knees in an accident.

Probably about the same [p4 has a separate chassis] as long as it cruises at 70, not particularly bothered, but I'd like to put [possibly] a more modern diesel in there.........
