This car has been to hell and back, twice, and has the scars to prove it. So if you can’t handle being seen behind the wheel of this biblical, fire breathing, dragon slaying, nazi killing hero because it has a few purple hearts, move on.

The car comes with silvia coilovers in the front, with genuine JDM Daihatsu dampners and lowered (via angle grinder) springs in the rear. Stripped out rear seats makes this car handle like a Tofu delivery go kart.

Oh Yeah!

About 14-15 average. 18 on a long run, if you don't drive like an idiot.

Pretty much the same as an old Rangey V8.

Are those Chrysler Missfires not just a re-skinned Mercedes SLK?

Lie-e-pedia would have us believe:

shares 80% of its components with Mercedes-Benz SLK320

Yep. It is a bastard child from the ill fated Daimler-Chrysler marriage of yore.

It was built in Germany by Karmann.

If they're anything like my bastard child very little is interchangeable . On mine only the Sprinter engine and w210 gearbox have anything to do with Ze Germans ,even though everyone tells me it's just a re-skinned Merc. The 300's were made in Austria by Steyr so I think of mine as a descendent of the Haflinger.

I thought the 300's were based on a W124 floorpan?

^^^^^ that's the theory but the back axle!steering and all suspension is unique to the 300/Magnum/Challenger and even the route the exhaust takes is different to my old CLS which is definitely an e class floorpan ......I think, god now I'm confused!

Edited because I put uppy arrow things then something else posted in between ,I don't think Leganzas share a floorpan with 300 or EClass !
