I'm surprised at how cheap these are now. Skoda's seem to hold their money better than recent Merc's.

Anyway, does Morcambe have different laws with regards to number plates? or is the seller/dealer just a knob?

Closer examination reveals the plates look Photoshopped or crude use of Windows Paint. It's also the wanky 230 one and has extra wankified (and hideous) chrome trim on arches and back lights.

It's pretty tempting now the price is a bit more sensible. Big engine but crap spec. It's ultimate Autoshite surely? If I didn't already have two BXs and had actual money and if it was closer and if I could weld and if the dog hadn't eaten my homework etc.

That has to be the most miserable, basic, depressingly beige thing ever. Quite like the interior though...

 

I'd assume these things rust like crazy given half a chance, can't remember the last time I saw one. My parent's neighbour had a very late one brand new which he covered in every possible optional extra, have to admit I always quite liked the styling of it. It got stolen out of his garage one night which seemed odd considering the number of considerably more desirable cars out on driveways nearby!
