Microlight Micro light Fuji Robin EC34PM Engine and wing - Picture 1 of 17

Microlight Micro light Fuji Robin EC34PM Engine and wing | eBay UK

A bloke I used to work with had something like this. He decided to save money one day and tinkered with it himself, bringing exactly the sort of consequences you'd expect. Luckily, he was wasn't too far up when it happened.

A very sad sight.

They are both Daimler DR450 limousines, a long- wheelbase variant of the then current 4.5 litre V8 Majestic Major saloon and produced from 1961 -1968. They were the last complete car designed by The Daimler Company Limited - which had been taken over by Jaguar in 1960.

864 DR450 made in Coventry - and now two less - but hopefully a useful source of spares.

Duly amended, I should have known that to begin with...

Surely they are both salvageable?

Anything is - but can anyone be bothered or have the deep deep pockets?  Not worth much in good condition alas.

Not cheap, but for those looking for a 1.6 Sport without wanting to invest their time/money in fixing years of neglect and abuse, this is possibly the one to have:

1997 Vauxhall Corsa B 1.6 16v Sport

Looks nice but bet it's been hit up the ass, look at the pictures of the boot floor it's a right state!

He's a lucky private seller to have his very own white room to photograph his car in.  Most private sellers only have a large gravel forecourt driveway.

Fun* fact: the autogyro was flown in the film by its designer, Ken Wallis.  He used to come in to the petrol station where I worked part time in my uni days, to fill up his 405 estate, which often had an autogyro on a trailer behind it.  Fantastic old gent, the only customer I ever called "sir".
