I bet that Commer 4.108 Perkins is a flying machine compared to the 4.99 camper my Dad bought back in the day, hampered by its deluxe, heavy wooden cabinetry it had to carry around all the time.

Yes, it seems overpriced, and he's probably just trying to get back some of the money he has in it.

But I'm struggling a bit to believe this, but extensive welding by professionals is expensive so could be true.
