Low-ish mileage SLK, no bids at £1300.
My wife is at Westpoint, Exeter  (13 miles from the car ) on Saturday but is not feeling the love for another car (any other car) so is not willing to deviate off route to look at this fine beast.
Maybe I could accidentally* torch her Bini this afternoon whilst welding it (it needs no welding but you have to spin a story) ??

Interesting font choice, an attempt to trick ANPR cameras perhaps?

Can't remember if I already posted this. Chesterfield Maestro Turbo, twenty large

It comes with a lot of spares but that doesn't explain why it's so expensive.

Because only something like 200 were made.

I was going to say that the seller is a Maestro licker but, then, figured there's a few around here ;-)
He knows that only six of these still exist in the known universe, thus, his is really, really valuable? He'd be better slinging it onto the cars/classics website or else chuck it into an auction and grit his teeth.
£10K tops ??

I think it's pug ugly to be fair (I'd give him £4.5K but I'm a tightwad)

The only way it's worth £20k is if there's £10k of gold bullion in the glove box.

I happened to read the company vehicle policy from my work once and it says something like any person with permission from the Managing Director or Company Manager

I learnt to drive in my Dad’s company Cortina Mk3 2.0XL. I think the insurance excess was increased a bit for learners though.
My wife had a company car but they changed the policy from anyone in the family (learners included), to anyone who has held a full licence for at least a year just before our son turned 17.
My BIL worked for the same company and his children a few years older learnt to drive in the company BMW .
