MARTINI RACING 1992 Porsche 944 S2 3.0 Cobalt Blue Cabriolet Convertible - Picture 1 of 24

Because the nice blue paint work isn’t so great close up and there some rust too.

That is definitely my kind of motor. I’d happily roll that.

It always amazes me how cheap some of the cars from this era are. An 80/90 year old car for price of a mk4 escort..

Maybe - they do say in the description that the blue was tidied up then they wrapped it. I'm wondering if wrapping a rust bubble is a great idea?
Car's still out of my budget for a possible summer drophead - I'm more MGF/Pug CC budget

I have no idea - has no tension on it - so not holding anything in place?

No offence, M8, but it's about as sturdy and reliable as your fucking camera.

Just how many cars for sale don't have the original glass (ignoring windscreens for the obvious reasons)?

There are reasons they're relatively cheap.  Most small-engined pre-war cars will be pretty dire to drive in modern traffic, and there's no nostalgia tax on cars this age as everyone who remembers them from their youth has died of old age.

Going to view this tomorrow, was brought home from the hospital when I was born in an 11 and have always fancied one.

This is right on my doorstep so would be rude not to, has anyone on here owned one?

There used to be a Renner 11 in the same blue hue on here. It was mega low miles but had a wobbly carb if I remember correctly.

Edit: it was a completely different colour 🤣. Owned by @RobT amongst other shiters.

Do you remember when you was a kid and your parents told you not to loose the front door key?  Was this not their solution?
