Could do with some TLC but a very endearing little thing

yeah, a Standard 10 is on my life time want list, and this one looks about right - but there's just a bit too much rust to make me think it's going to need professionally sorting - and then it could become a bit over restored, BUT, it did have a clean MOT pass in 2021....so yeah, hard to know without poking it in the flesh, ooh matron.

Yeah that's the problem, It could be alright so long as it's clean underneath but who's to know without taking a proper look.

Its a great spec but considering the rust the price is just rediculous.

Take your point entirely, but I guess the Cossie cars are getting thin on the ground.

I prefer the fixed head cars (probably in a minority) but wouldn't want the webasto roof, dunno if that was a factory option?

I'm in the same boat as you on this one. I'm sure someone where could tell us.

I too prefer FHC but would love a Webasto, it's pretty much my ultimate spec. Possibly dealer fit option?

I wonder what BL called this shade of brown?

I think that's Bordeaux Red

I think 982XVT is a replacement number for a 'cherished' one removed probably. Sad to see these old classics lose their identity. These replacement numbers never look quite right.

This is the one with the opening boot - on the real poverty models there was no boot opening!

That's gone down in price a bit, I think the same one was £2.5k a week or two ago.
