Guy I used to work with offshore told me cars are expensive in Portugal hence he used to fly into Germany and buy something there, drive it home to Lisbon and double his money every time.

Indeed very common.

My Merc has its first German registration from 2006, and then Portuguese registration from 2007, as it was a used import.

But now, Portugal cars from the 80s and 90s are being exported to to their body condition

"2 careful owners, Lovingly kept"

People will literally anything in a car advert these days, what even is the point? Might as well just say 'Ferrari 250GTO Estate, £995' and be done with it

Not great pics, but giffermatic Mazda project. Also wiper fans - note the rear wiper on a saloon! That's got to be worth the price of admission alone.

Also note the aftermarket vinyl roof, which probably* hasn't* turned into a water trap and rotted the roof out.

Nothing to do with me, but spotted on the Book of Arses just now. Looks a proper gem for one of these. £6.5k seems pretty good too. If I were in the market, this one would be mine I reckon.

That Camry estate is stunning. Isn't @Spottedlaurel a Toyota pervert?

I've certainly had a few, and their ownership appears to be spreading amongst my family.

Never had that generation of Camry, wouldn't say no but I probably missed that boat 10-15 years ago. I suspect a decent, rot-free one would fetch a fair amount these days, and I should really concentrate on putting any spare £££s into the LS400.

See, that's lovely and more like what I'd want although not sure I could put up with 850cc. Bet they're alright though.

I was thinking do I want to pay £1500 for a project or £5000 for a driveable project that I could tinker with and enjoy at the same time?

Also, that's Plymouth, near where I'm from, so it's got to be good*.

The worrying thing is I’d be really tempted on that as a runner.

I've owned this since 2018 and selling as I've got to many projects on the go. It's a great project for someone so Needs finishing. It's fitted with a 4ltr perkins diesel and 5 speed manual. which starts, runs, it would however have to be removed on a trailer or similar. Needs Interior and paint. I've got the paint. If you want it red. There's to much to list about this truck, but if your interested contact me for more information.'

Fascinating* fact no 3,327: 'DKW Auto Union car'  is an anagram of 'auction dour wank'. If that's not a subliminal message telling you to buy it, I don't know what is.
