The rear window has been panned in and the drivers seatbelt doesn't work so it should make for an interesting drive home.

You gotta live a little, dude. :D

Holy shit a 5 cyl!

@Dyslexic Viking Turns out there is at least one in the UK...

I've had 2 estates and a Santana 5, but never a hatch.. these now have scene tax tho, from the few I've seen for sale.

One of the best cars I've ever owned..

I did not notice that before. The starting price is also low and it looks solid. Hope this one gets a good home.

I wonder who that's for? Naff all worth taking out of that despite what the seller seems to think.

yep, absolute dreamer. Like any e30/36  scene kid now thinks that the rust flakes are now worth £onemillionpounds.

Rare old Japaneseish truck, never 'officially' sold in Europe but there was an Irish import/CKD operation.

That explains alot, a quarry local to me runs an entire fleet of them to this day, I always assumed they had just sold in really small numbers because i've never really saw them elsewhere

Had two as well. Both estates and father in law had a 1.6 hatch, but loved my GL5's.

Seller history not the best, looks as though he does not set a reserve and then does not sell if he wants more.

One to keep an eye on though... (Think I might still have a set of roof bars in the garage 😂)

There's only one response to that. Where's my million pounds then?

This looks worth of salvation. v8 manual

"The vehicle has never been welded which is almost unheard of in a Discovery 1 these days"

Inevitably

"There are a couple of areas of rust that will need addressed on the car such as the tops of the rear inner arches in the rear door shuts (as seen in the photos) and the drivers side sill "

It still doesn't look too bad for an old Discovery.

as well as a selection of other bits including M-Sport taillights

...the fuck are M-sport tail lights?

At least the wheels look usable.

My old 206 gti, I put a new axle on this so it's, good value for someone. Although not sure where he's got 2 prev owners, I know it's had 3 since I had it, and even then it was on 6!

Quite pricey and currently in Dunkirk so not sure how the import/reg process would work however did I mention it's a K11 micra ESTATE?!?!

What a brilliantly insane thing.

Japanese import I believe?

EDIT: This is fae Wikipedia.

There was a Cabriolet (FHK11) unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, but it was not sold until August 1997, with an electric top. These were produced in limited numbers for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) only. However, much like the Nissan Figaro, some have been imported into the UK unofficially. There was also an estate version called the March Box (WK11), which was unveiled on November 1999, with a double folding rear seat, along with an automatic transmission four-wheel drive model.[citation needed]

I guess if you could get it for scrap value and you need some spares (drivetrain, electrical bits that are salvageable) then it's worth it to scrap the rest. But yeah, I agree, it's worth bugger all

Yup, which makes it a March I guess. Seller has 2 apparently, needless to say I rather like the cut of his jib.

Small estates really do it for me, I'm not sure why, I'm a big fan of the Fabia and polo estates.

This is essentially how you can summon me to any conversation. I've been tempted by one many times. :)

lots of tipper firms ran them, all steel suspension N/A engines with loadsa torque, the "sleeper" was a tad on the small side - think it added 8" to the cab!!!

IIRC they were about £15k cheaper than the cheapest rival!!
