I had one of these as a company car, a 1.8GDi whilst waiting for my new Mondeo back in 2001. Bloody awful in my opinion, sounded like a Simca from the 70s. We were visiting my parents for Christmas and I was scraping the ice off on Christmas morning and forgot the anti-hijack alarm fitted. Car running, me scraping, car locks itself, bollocks😡spare key is in Reading, parents in Glasgow. Had to call the AA on Christmas Day and he got it open…..using a tool I later got gifted that day. Hated that car.

Yeah those Carismas could will be one of those 'too shite for Autoshite'. Alongside the PT Cruiser,

Genuinely miserable cars with no redeeming features.

My dad seems to spend time window shopping on carandclassic at the moment. Interesting history on this facel vega with at least one owner spending time “ shooting tigers”. Lovely colour though.

Owned by a man in his 20s with a trust fund income, who spent his time chasing cougars more like.

It's a silver oxymoron.

I'd love this 50 Shades of Red Skoda Felicia which appears to be a higher up in the range model. However, it's probably also 50 Shades of Rust underneath (see the rear arches)! :D

I doubt there is any more rust than you can see there. That seems to be the only place Felicias go, unlike the Favorit which can go anywhere. Having said that, that is not a great example and they are trying to flog it as a collectors item. Perhaps it's the special edition with a mix of alloy and steel wheels.

There are people who want these but only about three of them, of which I am one, but nobody would want that one.

Aye I'd rather it was a Combi model honestly. It claims to be a 1.6 so it could be a GLXI, no?

Probably, there's a few for sale on Briskoda, one with the same rust, but possibly worse.

At least a GLXi, possibly even an SLXi as it has alloys but they were an option on lower specs. Can't see inside so can't tell. I have an SLXi, it just has alloys, electric windows and passenger airbag all of which were options on the lower spec. None of this makes it worth more.

The 1.6 isn't great either. It's smoother but offers virtually nothing in power over the proper Škoda 1.3. And they leak oil everywhere. The one to have is a mk1 1.3, spec unimportant just in good condition. Or just buy a Favorit, better all round. I may be a little biased, other opinions are available.

It has fog-lights too, then again, doesn't make a bit of difference really. I don't plan on buying a Felicia anytime soon, maybe another Fabia but we'll wait and see.

We don't have enough reaction emojies. What I want here is a face palm or head in hands. Make it so, somebody.

While we're on a Skoda tip, do any of those rally spec Favorits still exist? That would be my unicorn I think

Shitely Espace with 2.0 petrol donk, but don't worry it's got an autobox for fun* breakdown potential.

Probably £350 at the auction house, I'd imagine. But £1500 to you, Brum.

This trader has a broken camera and doesn't even know it; all his listings have a glitch pic like this.

£1400 on carandclassic four days ago, now £500 on autotrader. Either this one is a scammer who somehow got hold of a set of photos that are different from the ones on carandclassic, or it is greatly reduced in price and the seller forgot to remove the old ad.

What was the evolution from PSA 1.9 petrol to PSA 2.0 petrol? Is it substantially different or just bored out a bit?

Had the 2.0 in a 806 and it went alright although leaked from zorst manifold, TADTS. Because engine is canted backwards it's impossible to get to the fixings, which were probably rusted to feck anyway.
