What about the Apache , the Nomad and Innocenti 90/120 as stop gaps until about 81/82 ? Wipe the Allegro and Maxi from history and jump straight into a fully developed and world beating Metro, Maestro and Montego. Hell, scrap the Princess and SD1 , sell the P76 with a range of 4,6 and 8 cylinder engines until the Honda Legend, I mean Rover 800.

My dad had one of these on a K plate, around 1995. Used to throw clag everywhere and had a turbo gauge which I thought was awesome. Digi dash used to randomly turn itself off.
