Blinkin'  Nora... I've  never seen 2 wipers on the back of a car before. Surely they could of simply relocated the badge and used 1 wiper?

It's a Toyota thing. I had a girlfriend way back when whose parents had a late 70s Toyota Crown Estate. Apart from a super smooth 2.6 litre 6 cylinder engine and a self seeking radio it also sported 2 wipers on the rear hatch. It was an amazing car but sadly the rust got it.

Do they float? Be quite useful round there (Worcester area) at the mo. That'd be a great way to be rescued from your flooded house wouldn't it? I'd have loved the yellow Kitten if it was still a car.

There's a local guy who cut his up and buried it in his back garden as he couldn't scrap it and  he couldn't get the council to come and get it. Not easy to get rid of.

one of the next door neighbours to my parents found the remains of an Escort Mexico in their garden when they moved in,

the old fella who lived there before them had dug a big, escort sized hole in the back garden, pushed the car into said hole and then filled it in.

it took some digging out, and as this was 20-odd years ago it wasn't like finding Blackbeards gold, which is what finding that today would be......
