Chaps, I've been offered a Lancia Y 1.2 for a grand, is that too salty and would anyone on here want it? It's now UK registered. I would jump at it but I'm about to buy a house and Mr Mortgage Broker will be looking very carefully at my spending habits...

2008 Aixam Mega van. I believe it might be MOT exempt too, BTW.

Definite solid gold shite; I've not tried one but the chat on EV forums is that they're one not-very-big step up from a G-Wiz.

I felt a very underrated car in V6 form. Loads of boys had them in ford and raved at doing 130mph down Sarn hill from Cardiff.

 

Sort of a MK2/3 Mondeo crossover coupé.

 

I think the probe killed it's image.

 

The Cougar didn't get a head off as it was marketed as a sports coupe, when in it was actually a tourer.

 

The Probe failed because again marketed wrong, plus Gareth Cheeseman.

I had a couple of Probes too! Not as good as the Cougar, wallowy to drive and slow in 2.0 form, plus mechanics seemed terrified of them, particularly the V6.

 

This was my first one,still think they're a good looking car. Ugly interiors though. They seem all but extinct now, cant remember the last time I saw one.

At the risk of being thick what is the point of brass film around the windows?

 

I'll probably be banned for this but with those wheels it looks to me like one of those monstrosities where a MGB or something is put on a 4x4 chassis

Don't worry about it, I was also tempted but the non turbo 2 litre cars are pretty slow, and the auto will not help.

The film makes it all the more terrible to look at. Plus the "Bit of welding on passenger floor" bit in the ad probably means bad news because Lada.

 

The wheels are an abomination! Lovely!

Good point. It just looks surprisingly fabulous in white on those wheels.
