Thread was over with that IZH Riva van! It is filth!

Posted

If he hasn't, that means there's more than one van out there with Scargill murals, because I remember one about 6 months ago.

No, I hope there's only one and it's this one which used to regularly be on a drive near me, directly opposite the entrance to the local nick which was built specifically before the miners strike by a Government that knew what was about to happen.....

Nice to see a tribute to Ken Dodd. RIP the diddy men.

Aye, and Meg Richardson out of Crossroads.

Funny how times change, Ken Dodd would get an OBE or better now, for services to tax evasion.

£2,000
2004 Daihatsu Hijet Pick Up Turbo Drift
69,000m
Rochford, England

Hi and thanks for looking at my project.

1st off it's a one off turbo drift truck.

This was not meant to happendbut I got carried away with it.

it is a 1.3 hijet truck that I've added a turbo to it's got bigger injectors and a adjustable fuel pressure regular.

The ecu is stock but running 4psi, she is fine, I was shocked how well it has took to boost.

Really transformed the truck will spin the tyres in 2nd gear in the dry.

it's got a welded diff and modded steering angle.

it's got 13" wheels with 165 65 13 tyres on it.

The truck is in good over all condition but it's a drifter and has little bits around her that could be smarted up.

Such fun to drive and drift it's got 10 months mot left.

Just had it's 1st drift day at kings Lynn Norfolk arena. and got so much attention every one loved it.

I really don't want to sell her, have got so many plans for her, but family commitments are forcing sale.

Viewing is a must and all test drives will be done by me.

Any more info just ask

That galant sapporo also has the electronic suspension ... I'd be amazed if it's working properly, the struts were obscenely expensive last I heard.

Oh, and if it was in doubt, they have the softest velour ever.

1989 Ford Sierra Ghia Estate 2.9 V6 4x4 - St Austell - £2750

£2750 OVNO. No P/X, no silly offers.

If I don't sell, I will just hang on to it for a while.

Very rare these days. Good workhorse, nearly 30 years old now!  MOT until May 2019, 4 previous owners,

97k miles, ABS, c/locking, sunroof, heated front and rear screens, tow bar and electrics,

K&N filter, RS front bumper, electric windows/mirrors, radio cassette player,

Good bits:

Recent service. 4 new tyres. New clutch last year.

Sills welded and sealed last year.

Welding done above petrol tank and sealed this year. New petrol tank.

Recent top end gasket change.

16.6 1/4 mile time at Perranporth

Not so good bits:

Some rust scabs around rear arches, roof and windows (see pics)

Minor electrical gremlins (bulb warning, wiper don't complete cycle sometime when you turn them off, temp gauge slightly over).

Rear calipers need changing before next MOT.

Boot not currently locking.

Ooh yes! The Merc's going, this is what I want.

Fantastic colour scheme, automatic gearbox, banging sound system and oh yes: one scissor door.

I'd rather be tag-team bummed by the Aylestone St James front three than be seen driving that.

To be fair it looks class, but £175+£30 delivery is insane.

That looks silly, dangerous and stupid.

How can I hide it from the missus?

Under the stairs, behind the hoover. Should fit
