Since when is 200,000 miles low mileage?

For reasons of brain fade I read that as 20k, not 200k!

Ford Granada Mk1 Consul Estate - Very Early Car

post-20295-0-34916100-1535918709_thumb.jpg

"We have had it in storage for the past 25 years"

"Estate cars started production Sep 1972, this is a early Nov 1972 car, so it could very well be the earliest estate in existence, or it not it is a very low production number, and production stopped of this model in Apr 1973, so were only made for 8 months in total."

(Not sure what they mean by that, you could still buy a 2500 Consul estate in 1975)

Since when is 200,000 miles low mileage?...

When it's in kilometres?

The most likely thing to happen to that white Mini is that some moron will put wide arches, spot lights and Cooper stripes on thereby wrecking it.

More from Japan;

Celica SS-II

- These mid-range SS-II Celicas are real oddballs. They could be optioned with the high tech 2.0 BEAMS engine, Super Strut Suspensionn, LSD etc but retaining steel wheels and auto box. Autos seem very cheap.

70002034573018072600100.jpg

Celica XX - There are usually a handful of these not-quite Celica Supras about. They seem to o command good money, usually about £16,000+, but still cheaper than a clean AE86 nowadays. The "G" chassis code indicates the 2.0, 24v engine is the same family as the 2.0 Twin Turbo Mk3 Supra and IS200 (as well as numerous JDM sedans).

Looks a nice thing. like the colour too.

what is it worth????

Awesome color indeed, looks great on a C215! Too bad its a pre-fl with grey interior and high miles. Shouldn't cost more than 3 grand, so its completely overpriced.

'arguably the most perfect example of Mercedes and one of the most reliable vehicles ever produced.'

Few pages ago but this is amazing.

He seriously writes the phrase "one of the most reliable vehicles ever made" before a list of everything that's broken on the car, and everything is broken on the car. The engine, the air con, the HRW, the wipers, the rear view mirror, the glove box lid, even the fuel filler flap is faulty.

Then bringing up his wife's glue allergy, holy shit. The word "glue" appears seven times in that description.

I would happily dance for many of those South African cars.

I like this:

The car is very safe having a long front and back and very thick heavy doors (it may have been one of the reasons why the former chancellor of Germany Helmut Kohl and other heads of state chose this particular model)

Note omission of Lady Die.

Shoot me as it's a Gumtree article, but it's a nice piece of fresh Soviet Shite:

Small pointers:

"Complete and genuine car." Oh good.

"Rust free!" Check again.

"Brown leather interior." Oh yes!

Bulgarian LHD import but oh well.
"We can pick up any potential buyers from London Central Line station." Yes yes completely genuine seller. I'l bring extra cash just in case.
