These are still very popular in the area I grew up in, due to their age they don't need a speed limiter when driven with a 50cc license.

and 60cc, 70cc, 90cc kits and loads of tuning accessories are widely available.

 

I had one at 16, but back then before ebay you couldnt get the part easily.

Well it isn’t a 1974. They’re all A reg 1983 made in commemoration of the France 3 (as they are named in France ) sailing triumph.

Agreed; but the ad claims a 74 UK logbook; the seller would be very well known and trustworthy but not altogether knowledgeable about what he sells; I'd know much of what hes sold over the last couple of years is his fathers clearance accumulated over many years.

 

I'd love to know how its ended up in a true Field of Dreams in County Wicklow; and possibly how it accumulated its logbook. Many rotten or hooky UK cars end up here with Irish identities from cars that havent existed since the 80s; brown logbooks survived here until 1993 and have been hoarded and resold.

 

Or maybe its a typo ;)

Daughter's Boyfriend has a 2 Owner from New (his Grandmother until last year and then him) 1.25 L Fiesta 5 Door. 51 reg Mot until end of October. Has a set of alloys and works. Less than 70K. Has had work to sills and they look shitely done

 

Not sure what spec it is - but it's dark blue.

It's SORN because he can't afford the insurance, because he's in a Rock band that strangely hasn't YET made it big.

 

I don't think there's much wrong with it, but I've not seen it for a while and I have no photos. I suggested he put it on Gumtree for £400 and accepts offers down to £300. If a shitter is interested and wants it, I'm prepared to get it insured for a day to take it to a pre-booked MOT.

 

It's in Maghull Near the Mental Hospital, near the M58

Oh wow a 505, and it's only done 100k. Barely run in as they say. Doesn't have a valid MOT, despite what the seller is saying...in fact it failed one three days ago. Wonder how it did:

Regards is XAW 890Y it's a left hand drive to our knowledge mileage is gen think it was a car kept at holiday home hence low mileage. It's been garaged until 3 years ago now kept in barn.  If anyone is interested they can get back to us and we can try get some pictures it is pale blue just listed as blue on log book
