The twin cam powered xr4i was sold in the UK as a 5 door as a run out model.

 

2 Dr std shell was avl in Europe in most specs throughout production.

 

South African models where avl with the 1.6 xflow & 3.0 efi Essex plus 5speed & 4 speed auto box.

 

But no ohc's,cologne v6s,cosworth or 4x4 versions.

Full on pov spec this one - on their website they want £995 for it.....

 

Pov on Rovers is relative, though.  You still get wood and comforts a MkV Escort can only try to achieve at mid-range, and you're still stuck with a CVH after all that

I'm grudgingly impressed that it has an MOT. Assuming it is a proper MOT.

 

Apart from that, someone pass me the eye and brain bleach, and a bucket in which to throw up.

Got to be a bent ticket surely? Tints, plate font and front plate can't be legal up there.

 

I'm sure it must fall foul of construction and use regs too. Shotgun gearstick FFS!

Full on pov spec this one - on their website they want £995 for it.....

 

Not quite pov spec, the 214i sat below it with 8v engine, 13" wheels, no power steering, no central locking and no bit of wood on the dashboard.  Sorry, anorak off now...

This ones looks v.tempting apart from no ticket and some cooling issues - R8 420 (T-series, prob Turbo-powah looking at the 138 bhp). Chances are this could just be a £5 expansion tank cap jobbie, as T-series weren't prone to OMGHGF

On my watch list as it's just down the road from me and as you say, T-series aren't that prone to HGF.  138hp is non-turbo though..
