The diabolical Minor pickup was posted a few days ago.It somehow looks even worse on revisiting.

Theres something beautifiul about the fact that Minor pickup is being flogged to make way for a 'Ferrari replica', I bet its one based on a flippin Toyota Starlet or something

Cool as the Minder cars are, my choice would be this from his other items

Seeing the 2CV theft thread elsewhere myself, and I speak just for myself, others may be more confident, would not go down the Ebay route with strangers coming to my home. A lot of the people I have sold to over the years I would never want to meet again and if I had nice cars would not want at my place with their, uuummm what shall I call it...attitude.

Auction house would be the way I would go. Of course others in the trade may be more happy with 'customers'.

Those things all rust like an absolute bastard.  They're not too bad on a slippery road, but I still reckon the Mk1 Justy is better.

I wonder if the Justy is worse than the Swift for rot? From what I've seen Swifts only really rot in the floor at the front corners (unless water leaks into the boot unnoticed) but with the floor being modified for the drive shaft I wonder if it's lower quality in the material or if it's attached to the sills differently.

If I had a collection like that there is NO WAY I would let the world know. How many mark 1 Granadas? Every oily overalled bloke at Arena Essex is fapping himself into a frenzy right now...

And once finished he'll be fuelling up the Hiab for a trip out to view some Minder memorabilia or whatever...

I've sold cars when I've had other cars about. Buyer turns up - loses interest in the car you are selling and spends time looking at what you don't want to sell, or gets all concerned about why you are keeping car a and selling car b.

Minder Man, not only has loads of Mk1 Grannys, he's got a garage full of Marina Vans, Escorts and a Montego.

Fuck me he's like the Sultan of Brunei to us.

300E Auto

Keep talking...

Converted to manual gearbox

If you really want to convert one of these to manual, here is a complete how to guide:

1: Go to Finland

2: Find a Taxi with column change

3: Use those pieces to convert your car to manual column change.

Don't think I've seen a Vectra C in this particular hue before.

Bizarrely, I think I've an HO (approx) scale model of one in this shade. But never seen one in real life, either.

These rare autos - you'd need to be pretty keen on an auto to risk one - pretty complex I'd guess especially the part auto which I expect has some significant electrical parts. Penny does not seem to have dropped on the new MoT exemptions as a sales feature.
