eBay tat volume 3.

I clicked on that Rangie, thinking that if he wanted a Rover car, I might be able to help him out.  Then I spotted the wiring under the bonnet, and the fact the owner is so tight he's "repaired" a fugging Poundland steering wheel cover with electrical tape.  I'm oot.

FTFY.

Shitting Christ! You may as well save the money and ride around on a bright pink moped with a light-up traffic cone on your head shouting "HELLO OFFICER. WHY YES I AM INDEED TRANSPORTING AND SELLING ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES. HOW DID YOU GUESS?!"

Posted

If that J7 were for sale over here it would be up for 4x the price with "NOT CITREON H VAN IDEAL ARTISAN COFFEE STREET FOOD HIPSTER BELLEND CONVERSION" in the advert title.

PS: when are Leboncoin going to pull their fugging heads out of their arses and allow more than 3 photos on an advert?  It's 2018 ffs, computers have more than 32MB of RAM these days.

This must be the 215th appearance on eBay for this car

Pretty sure a previous owner of this once attempted to sell me what was THE most fucked VW Sharan in the world EVER.

Wow I bet that is utterly fucked underneath. Odd looking thing; predates actual GTEs by about 4 years (and various details don’t match) so probably an SR or something that’s had the kit slapped on it. Thought it may be a super rare “mk1” GTE but they’re LHD only.

Look at this!

down rated to 3.5 ton

which means that anything more than a packet of cheese & onion in the back is going to put it overweight and thus renders it utterly useless as a lorry, but it also means that anyone (not just old farts like me) can drive it on a car licence.  4-pot turbo diesel too so probably better on juice than my van.

Verdict:  MEGAWANT.

You can thank God on knees that it isn't on Minitel.

By the time that's had black and white number plates fitted and is being driven by a 14 year old 'scrap metal business' owner with half a haircut, the weight's not going to matter.

About £1,100. Air Con.  In Australia. Shipping is about £750. Then your other expenses on top.

How nice does this look? Almost completely unmolested apart from a few small pieces and the wheels of a later car, which I think really suit it. 1997 makes it one of the earliest, too.

As a side note, I think I've missed my chance to get one of these for cheap - that black one that was posted here yesterday is already at £520. For a Cat C Saxo with no service history that's been off the road for the last 4 years. Just seems crazy to me....
