eBay tat volume 3.

He'll luv* it too when his final value fee bill comes through...

Struggling slightly to work out what's going on with the bidding - are they "genuine" eBayers on a wind-up or are they shills who are pulling some kind of double-bluff scam that I can't get my head around?

The email addresses on the advert are slightly different, too. Does seem to smell of scam to be honest, I wonder if they're trying that old 'out of the country, shipping included' nonsense?

The description is 2,005 words in two paragraphs, and you should definitely read it. It includes such useful info as how to count in seconds by saying 'one Mississippi, two Mississippi', how ALL CARS on a hot day need to be cooled by leaving the hood open for a while ("not many drivers doing that"), and some examples of numbers which are larger than 65. There's also some good stuff about how, if the car has been parked overnight, it will take 3-4 seconds for the "electronics to flow to the top of the solenoid" and how the battery should be covered with a towel. Plus a lot of stuff about how you should not tamper with the engine mounts.

I really like this little gem:

is-stick shit

But the most important thing is this:

All interior light is working, which is very important.

That H reg Scoupe that was posted a couple of times went for £311 in the end, was sorely tempted but I know I would have seen the thick of a grand down the drain in short order :-).

Three doors are way less common. I had never noticed until now how much shallower the boot is in these compared to the Swift (because AWD obviously). I wonder why the Justy got airbags but the Swift didn't. It's not like the Justy is better spec'd in other regards.

Apologies for another boat but this one has so much appeal it would be a crime to keep it to myself.

"Nice little cruiser with lots of potential, trailer tyres seem OK but slightly perished."

It even has 2 perches on the stern for the bikini clad girls when they're on a break from working 'down below'.

Sniff it out on Gumtree.

I've just read the whole lot. One of the more interesting write-ups of 2017. Imagine going for a test drive with that guy in the passenger seat.
