These Crown Vic's seem to be bottom of the food chain. I bet in a couple of years they'll be hard to find.

This 2000 dollar one is interceptor spec with shot gun bins in the boot.

The shot guns are for when you have a flatty, you get out, see the tyre flat, get the shot gun out and shoot the tyre in anger, "you godamn sun of a beach".  It does farkall for the flatty situation but momentarily provides some sense of relief.

205 CJ on FB Shite Cars.  Â£800 quid.  Milton Keynes.  Dry stored since circa 2010, apparently.  Going rate seems to be 1500, so could be OK if recommissioned.

Basically, the K-series was much better built for use in the Land Rover Freelander than it was in MG-Rover products. The MGCC Garage therefore retrofits the more durable Land Rover parts to MG-Rover cars.

Oh aye, that's a new one

In 2011 it had been to the MG Car Club for the 'fix' to the perennial problem with the Rover K-Series engine: the head gasket.

The car was 100% reliable until last July, when it developed a misfire immediately before it was due for its annual service and MOT. This misfire was traced to a failing head gasket.

When I called the MGCC Garage they looked up the car and recognised it, saying that it was one of the first ZTs that they upgraded. What they did not know at the time that they fixed this car was that, after fitting the Land Rover parts, a four-thou shim was needed on the cylinder liners to true them up. The lack of the shim is what had caused the head gasket issue.

The work done by the MGCC was out of warranty

I really hope the back end had been made into some half-arsed trike

Wouldn't want to half-arse a trike with that much power!
