This is a 1954 Sunbeam Talbot, it has been in a shed at my family home for the past 35 years I can remember.

Looks like your are telling fibs as that definitely looks outside the shed to me.

No... that should go in the other ebay thread.

What's going on with the ride height on this!? Looks like it's owned by pandamonium's polar opposite clone from another universe.

To be fair if you were into 1954 Talbot's even in that state £300 would be a good deal as a parts car. The princess however as nice as that is looks a bit cheeky at 6.5 bags.

^^^^full of asbestos? and will instantly implode during any attempt to move it.  Do you think a 999cc panda could pull it?

What a motor vehicle.

I may have to bid on that, but doubt it will stay at £300 for long!

Just checked up on that Oldsmobile Silhouette.  It shows as taxed, but we know what that's worth.  It also shows as MoT expired, Feb 16th.  But the history isn't too bad.  Fails have been dealt with as necessary, it would seem.  Hmmmmm.....

I do like the front end of the SD1, it must have looked even more menacing when they first came out.

I am selling this on behalf of a friend who has moved abroad and has no further use for the car.

The MOT has lapsed - hence the "spares or repair"

I wonder if this has just been sitting on someones drive and only needs an MOT with nothing actually needing to be done to it.

I should have checked the MOT history before saying that!

Parking brake: efficiency below requirements (3.7.B.7)

front registration plate deteriorated (6.3.1d)

nearside front Headlamp not working on dipped beam (1.7.5a)

Parking brake lever has no reserve travel (3.1.6b)

Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive (7.3.D.3)

Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (7.3.D.3)

nearside Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively (8.2.2)

nearside rear parking brake recording little or no effort (3.7.B.6a)

offside Front position lamp(s) not working (1.1.A.3b)

nearside front Direction indicator not working (1.4.A.2c)

offside front Direction indicator not working (1.4.A.2c)

offside Headlamp aim beam image obviously incorrect (1.8.A.1b)

nearside front Brake pad(s) less than 1.5 mm thick (3.5.1g)

Apart from the usual shit Volvo handbrake issue, the rest doesn't look that bad. Emissions depends on how far out it is - may just need a good drive. Or just a new cat/O2 sensor. Or its fucked.

It's cool because it's a modern volvo but still has tiny little wipers for the lights. None of this pop-up high pressure jet rubbish.

That looks ace for the money. Shame it's not MOT'd though.

It's not far from me either...
