That Armstrong is lovely, not sure if bright blue suits it, but it's not putting me off. Just the job for being in a Miss Marple episode as the dodgy cove who turns out not to be too bad after all.

Equipes are expensive due to rarity and Allegro owners coverting them, however Allegro owners generally aren't loaded so they tend to be for sale for ages.

 

The brown car is a custom job made out of quite a few cars. Doesn't bother me because who wouldn't want a poo brown Allegro 2-door with a beige vinyl roof and a 1750cc lump? It is however several thousand pounds more than I'd care to spend on it. I'd also want to fit a VDP interior to make THE ULTIMATE ALLEGRO.

must admit that on seeing the brown car i did think it was a funny spec, 2 doors AND a 1750 engine.

 

i would have thought that 2 doors would be the povvo model, but the 1750 is the top engine, but with BL you can never, ever be certain....

 

the open topped one must be the one which was on show at the NEC last weekend, it was nice, dunno it it was £7.5k nice but i doubt that there are any others like it in the world.

But why has it got a round steering wheel? Surely an ultimate Allegro should have Quartic
