TATA, would be the words my Mrs I would say if I bought this. There's definetly a hint of crashed Merc W124 in there somewhere.

Nissan Maximum shite. Quite capable barges these old things, and pretty nippy with that 3 litre V6 I shouldn't wonder. 8)

'how many 91 Rollers have rear seats that vibrate, heat up and recline electrically'

91?

How many 91 Nissan presidents have letterboxes cut into the glovebox?

As with all Pressidents they are speced to the first owner

Unlike most cars, where the second and third owners decide on the options

All ready for the Apocalypse, Mad Max stylee? Whap some random shit'n'guns on this Frontera, and you too could be the belle of the end of the world ball. Especially if it happens in Penicuik, which it might. You just never know.

Do my eyes decieve me? Or is this a totally stock Tooleater Probe? Why yes sir, it bloody well is. In proper misery spec, and with a non-functional sunroof. And not a single millisecond's T or T.

Rover limo not big, or thirsty enough? Have a Volvo 960, for your ultimate, sensibly Swedish hen night/funeral/Primary 7 'prom'/visiting dignitaries from countries who haven't got oil therefore you couldn't give a flying fuck about/rock star who hasn't charted since 1976 transport. Good, I think that's all the potential client base covered.

Christ on a bike, it must be limo night. 740iL which the seller seems to want £2000 for, but hasn't set a BIN. I've a feeling this'll be a bargain for someone, especially as he'll post to Europe and Canada. But not America, 'cos he hasn't charted there since '76. And, contrary to popular opinion, you can drive a car from North Berwick to Canada. Just mind the cost of petrol and cheese sandwiches at the Moto services just off Iceland. Ouch, pricey. And I'm sure the Manhattan Transfer CD I bought there in 1832* was a knockoff.

*Long lonely nights in the crow's nest on those whalers it was, I tell thee. In those days, we only had 32" plasma TV's up there. None of this 3D stuff etc.,

I find a hobby for the mrs really helps, you have your "cars" she has knitting, the wi or dogging for example, whatever floats her boat really. Plus if it is dogging if she rolls up in one of your "cars" she will really stand out from the crowd.

Exactly. Women have washing up, ironing, watching shit on tell, churning out kids and complaining about stupid things like bills, rent, money, roof over head, all that kind of crap, whilst men have to go out to work and spend money on the important things in life like K-seal and shit cars to put it in.

Plenty of stripes but no stars

I was thinking of bidding for that Sud but the advert states that a new battery is required. That's my decision made then

Quite WTF the winch is for (except perhaps when he gets stuck in a puddle) I don't know.

That BX would clean up quite nicely I suspect. 1.4 TU engine is a corker. They're ridiculously good fun! If a little low geared. One of the best colours ever on a BX.

I reckon the inner NS wing wants doing before it'll pass the MOT though.

I think if it hadnt had a sun roof I would have got it and possibly had a chat with Doc about dropping a diesel donkey in though.

Indeed it is, and the seller (rightly) makes reference to that on the listing.

While you're on, Ian...

£350, "recent MOT" oh and it's a diesel :D

Seller sounds a bit of a cockend though, flogging the tax and a new lockset as extras...

All this talk of Sierra's is making me horny for one again, check out the opition pack on this bad boy, Original fit Ford phone and CD player!, I used to perv over pictures of this set up in my Ford brochures as a lad.

I really like the idea of owning this, especially as it's local to me, but I imagine that getting hold of the correct rear bumper would be a major hassle, even in south Essex :(

Posted

Didn't know they ever made a diesel 4x4, that'll be interesting..

From the the Cockney Montego advert:

'Has reliable Perkins diesel engine often used in Land Rovers'

Probably straight where that one is heading.

Think this had a BIN of £1400 which seems pretty fair, but it could be a right money pit

Possibly an easier plan than dropping a diesel into that bx14 would be buying the lowish miles 19na auto that is being sold in Ludlow. Same age and colour as that one, the spazmaticness being the obvious downside.
