What a cock this guy is. I won't kick his C5 outta bed though.

Nice V6 Mark one Mondy. More of these need saving. Shame it's not got it's original wheels

That C5 seller is a complete and utter twat. I bet the one bid on his car is from 'Kysaksmum' who seems to have bought just about everything else he's sold. Also if hhe won't take less than £500 for it why doesn't he just put a f*cking reserve of that on it?

'Want a smaller car' 'Will swap for van or 4x4'

Also those V6 Mk1 Mondeos are hopeless in my experience. Slow, thirsty, oil burning and with self destructing cams, like a sort of more modern equivelant of the 1.6 Pinto, only less refined, more rattly and are going to use more oil.

'ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT LITTLE FIRST CAR. HE BOUGHT IT IN JANUARY FOR 600 QUID,HE THEN SPENT THE SAME AMMOUNT ON IT TO ENSURE ITS SAFETY AND ROADWORTHYNESS. i AM A VOLKSWAGEN MECHANIC. IT HAS A TINY BLOW ON EXHAUST FRONT PIPE,A BIT OF PLAY IN THE BOTTOM STEERING COLUMN JOINT,MAY NEED TWO FRONT TYRES SOON.'

So to sum up it's a 'brilliant' car, you're a VW mechanic, it's had £600 to make it safe and rowadworthy, you're a VW mechanic, it has problems with exhaust, tyres and the steering column and you're a VW mechanic?

They're not that great. If I was going to fork out £270 for a year's road tax I'd drive something interesting.

And yes, the seller's a fuckwit. His satnav's showing he's in Boston, so he's probably the kind of person that points at airplanes as they fly past...

I’m off to have a look at this tonight with the A-frame in the boot!

Went to see this tonight, I liked it and was up for buying it but the ASSRAMMER selling it did not answer his mobile when i got there so there was no-one to do a deal with! What a waste of a fuggin evening, drove to Bedford for nowt. Its a pretty tidy FSO, needs some minor welding on the back ends of the sills but otherwise very smart, oh aye it has what look like brand new STOMILS on the back!

Sorry you got messed around bol, are you going back? The 125 I aquired still had the original stomils on it.

LPG'd XJ8 for £695. Seems a bit cheap too me.

2290 TO SUPPLY AND FIT LPG CONVERSION 1 YEAR AGO INCLUDES RECIEPT AND CERTIFICATE , TOP OF THE RANGE MODEL

Then why are you selling the whole car for £695 quid then?

What do you loose when you fall off you bike and land bum first on gravel? Erskine, which is also were this Metro is located.

Only 10k on it, but seems to have some prodigious rot. Only £275 though.

Cavette you've shat nicely all over my Mondeo V6 dream :D

The C5 V6 ain't bad. I've had three. Big wafty things but they don't like going fast, there's a world between it and the Laguna V6 performance wise. Few things have done the Midlands to Stranraer trip with such ease though!

How come, when i am skint , and dont really have room, all i can see is wonderfull shitey motors some quite close to me, and most less than 500 quid. Tax and tested too! Tis not fair it really isnt. Think i am gonna build me own bank and multi storey car park oo the back door. Might have to demolish next doors hoose but that a minor inconvience i can live with!

tour bus for a band

I've had this open in a background tab for a couple of hours trying to think of a pun combining a band's name with 'bird shit covered van' but I just can't come up with anything except Bird Shit Covered Van Halen and Van With Bird Shit On It Morrison.

As used by A Flock of Seagulls

Not a fan of these 'modern' Escorts at all but I bet this'd be a pretty good OSF investment if you sat on it for a few years. Also during that time you could get introduce some Nitromors to the interior and un-twatterise the dashboard.

Is removing all rear headroom the new stretched tyres?

People have been Coupe-ing (pronounced 'koop' please) Minors since the '70s, in fact I think 90% of Minors that got modded between about 1985-1990 got the treatment. It can - and usually does - look great, that one looks stupid because he's kept the standard roof height... It needs a good few inches chopping out and it'll look fantastic. And obviously a serious suspension drop, some lake pipes, maybe some Moon Discs... in grey primer.... yumz!

Roof chopped Minors used to look ace, remember seeing loads about back in the day and being impressed with them. Would just like to add 'Frenched in' round rear lights to that list, Barrett.

Now, talking of 'customising' check out this ARSE FONDLER
