eBay tat volume 3.

I'd love an Imp one day but fear they might be too small for my 6 ft 6 frame. This could be doable for someone.

These two were listed twenty minutes apart by two different sellers hundreds of miles apart.

You will be fine. My mate is the same height and has owned several. Just don't make the same mistake as he made and buy a Clan Crusader without trying it as he was FAR too big for that.

I bet he creamed his keks when he got those garage doors open.

Apart from the obvious, it looks like it's got a decent looking door off a very early Mini stored on the back seat. Jammy bastard.

Wish I had a lottery winning garden shed like that. Mine's full of dead mowers and rusty tins of gone-off Paraquat.

and not one mention of omg barn/garage/carport find

It's nice to know that there are still MKII Escorts tucked away waiting to be discovered.  The shed doesn't look very waterproof but the car looks to be in fairly decent condition and complete.  A GL too these are getting harder to come across now compared to some of the other models (L, RS2000 or Ghia).

That takes me back to visiting an elderly relative's house as a child and peeking through the garage window at his abandoned  MK2 Escort, also in Gold. He'd given up driving and just entombed the thing. Still there for all I know. Hell, that might be it!

Quantum of Solace.

Actually unlike the 2+2 This looks a whole lot more practical with proper seats in the back or the kidneys.

With some slightly bigger wheels/lower suspension that Quantum would look pretty good, they seem to be one of the better kit car builds.  I think they were available with a diesel engine too when new.

That pub landlord Jag is climbing in price, at £350 already with 3 days to go, must say I'm slightly surprised.

With the wheel trims removed and some beige paint that Quantum would look pretty good

There. I fixed it for you.

Be like that guy off that scrapyard program some people hated but others didn't. £400

Hold on. News just

Q:  Facebook expert negotiator asks.."What's the lowest you'd take ?"

A: 300

Once again I'm thankful I no longer have trade insurance.

occasional jerking and stalling

I had the same problem when looking at the pictures.

The ever refined Ford Lynx unit was used. Here's one I spotted at a show:

Would quite like one. Not with a diesel engine mind.
