eBay tat volume 3.

I thought I recognised the back drop, they're always 'selling' cheap stuff and rattling on about 'usual auction terms apply.'  I'm not sure if that price is the actual price, or you're supposed to bid on it or something.

That Rover is class, NA 220 as well which as we all know are for winners!!! Unfortunately its stuck in reverse gear so A-framing it home might be tricky. Maybe get a child to sit in it and hold the clutch down all the way home. Give him a mobile phone and tell him to ring if he gets cramp or his leg drops off or whatever.

"Old timers" here are officially over 30 years old, anything else is lumped in with the moderns. A couple of years back old timers were cheap as chips but then Croatia joined the European pyramid scheme and suddenly they all decided they were sitting on gold mines. Nothing's selling of course, I've been watching that Model T for more than a year.

As much as I agree that the Eest Yeerupeenz have funny ideas about prices in general, the prices of the examples you posted are very much in line with what you'd pay for these in Germany/Austria, which I guess is where the Croatian market is basically a part of.

That is indeed where they're getting their idea of prices from, sadly no-one from Croatia can afford them and no-one from outside Croatia even appears to be looking.

For instance, compare and contrast - http://www.njuskalo.hr/index.php?ctl=search_ads&keywords=peugeot+504&categoryId=12537 2 years ago I was looking at a 504 that appeared to have spent most of it's life sitting in a dealers, it was low, erm, kilometers and IMMACULATE. 800€ Sadly I didn't have any money at the time.

I know! Here in Czech I was expecting to be greeted with rows of dirt cheap, well maintained Skoda 120s, but the few that are left are mainly shitheaps that their pensioner owners think are worth a fortune. :-(

Its official, there are now more Barn Finds on ebay alone than there are barns in the UK which means some barns must contain more than one car.
