I'm pretty sure I bought a pair of Ka leather seats of this chap a few years back. They're still sitting idle in the back of my garage despite the plan of mounting them on swivels in the transit :roll: I remember the Fiat well as we pushed it out in the rain to get to the seats ya man Richard stayed at the lock up to dry off the 126 before putting it back to bed, lovely little thing it was too.

I rather fancy that Seat Marbella from a few pages back, but I kow nothing about them and this one is about 350 miles away! It also doesn't help that the vendor isn't making more of an effort to sell; I asked about corrosion and the interior on Tuesday and haven't received much by way of a useful reply.

 

Any of you erudite and tasteful chaps/ladies had any experience of these?

I suspect a serial Beta collector will be bidding. After all, 6 isn't enough (I think it's six. Pretty sure 5 of the ones there were his, and another one failed to make it to the event. That one should have won Shite-ist car really!)

Hi

 

The Beta is at Gino Fatica's garage on Worcester Street in Gloucester. Mr Fatica and his son ran the garage where my parents always took their cars when they ran old shiters. Now they have gone up in the world - ie all the kids have left home - they have a new Skoda and no longer go there. The Faticas were nice folks and honest so that car ought to be good. Mr Fatica lived round the corner from us as a kid and had some tasty fiats I seem to remember.

That Lincoln is overpriced by a Montana mile! No MoT, no tax and he can't get the dash to light up, which means something electrical... and at the end of all that, it's grey, how exciting (yawn).

 

Are you shocked yet? Eddy comes on and lays into an unloved old Yank motor? Tis a bit of a turnup, I know, but really, I'm struggling to see what's worth a start price of 1500 nicker there.
