He called me and said, do you fancy dragging a car out of the snow in Tring with your Disco? Apparently it was a "4x4 Specialist Recovery" and there was a vulnerable old person at risk of hypothermia in the car. The AA offered him £300 as they couldn't get there for 6 hours or summat.Off I toddled to Tring, on arrival at a church car park ,there was a Punto at the bottom of a slight slope, the ' vulnerable' pensioner in the Vicarage drinking tea, all I needed to do was clear I bit of snow from the dug in wheels and drive it out- the only thing in the car was a plastic seaside bucket and spade, oh, and a crab fishing line- didn't need that for this job though.
