i would say that the xj6 and the reliant are both very cheap.

i love my jaguar, though it can be an expensive mistress to keep in tip-top order.

i've not tried a reliant, one day i will, deffo!

How the hell can you operate an H-gate with your foot whilst trying to steer and not soil yourself at the same time??

Because it's got a Fiat126 engine so you will only be going about 15mph at the time,

As usual, seller gets it wrong!

Engine & 'box are Fiat 127, which makes for a WIDE ride. There was a really extensive right-up on these in Motorcycle Sport magazine in about 1980 which piqued my interest in car-engined bikes. The frame was entirely unique, as it would have to be to fit around such an unsuitable power train. I bought a 903cc Fiat 127 a year or so later, largely because of the existence of these bikes! (It was fucked of course).

Amazingly there is another one for sale: post-17481-0-71821400-1440236780.pngpost-17481-0-02215900-1440236791.png

Do it!  I love that.  I especially like the way they've integrated* the Fiat 127 clocks into the top of the tank.

(Was wondering why a 126 would have a 900cc engine and 127 instruments - thanks for explanation.)

Potential bargain/moneypit HPE.

Feel free to message the seller that the E in HPE stands for executive and not estate.

Wow, that Minx Estate is lovely.  Definitely one for the 'cars you never knew existed thread'.

Wonder how big the gap is between my skills and what that needs.

Crumbly and green, it would need more than a new exhaust and screen rubber to tempt me.

1982 JAGUAR XJ12 HE AUTO SILVER. Not as crumbly or green as the last one but not doing it for me. Were they always that cluttered under the bonnet?

The headlights are a bit like our old maths teacher we called 'pontoon' you just can't help staring.

Those really are pointless, unless your point is showing off that you can buy pointless cars

I'd rock round in one of them, no danger. Someone on here ( apologies, forgot who) bought one that was laughably cheap as it had a fault with it.
