Yeah I've seen those electric window kit things on here before. Not heard of a cruise control kit though - ta for the info chaps.

I'd be interested to see how effective one would be!

I had a Triumph 2500 with one of those DIY electric window kits fitted - it worked well enough. It also had an aftermarket intermittent wiper kit, which worked OK until it went wrong and put the wipers on to intermittent all the time.

My Polo G40 had an aftermarket electric window kit, the motors were inside the door panel but then it had a toothed belt up to the winder spindle, and a cap covering it. Controlled by E30 switches which slotted right into the "proper" blanks below the stereo. Worked far better than many standard VAG electric windows which often throw a wobbler with difficult jobs like "closing".

That Trio is worth it for the wheel trims alone, unlike the modern pink Sherpa.

I think 'Sparkrite' did a cruise control kit, as well as electronic ignition, trip computers and alarms. A mate of mine fitted one to a Sunbeam TI about 30 years ago! Don't think he ever got it to work as it should.

I've seen this eye-sore knocking around Kent. Looks like it's tripped out.

I wonder if it was worth the agg to get an endorsement deal with Betty Boop? I would have thought she'd run her course except with needy 'reuben-esque' birds.

I never saw the appeal in Betty Boop, she's a weird-looking fecker.

Mind you, so is an LDV van,

Blimey how depressing would that be if you'd built that. Still, it looks fucking shit so maybe you could consider it a 'life lesson'.

That SD1 guy doesn't expect someone to give him ACTUAL money for it, does he?

What a fucking rocket...

There is virtually nothing left of it, bum-spec steel wheels, wanky DIY interior which is a catalogue of poor choices from the dash to the boot, the despicable paint job, the butchery of the mdf boot modifications, no engine and on and on.

I hope who ever did this bastardry has the excuse of a debilitating drug-addiction to lean on for this abortion of a car.

WRONG!
