Dollywobbler perhaps my most vivid childhood memory is my aunt's Bluebird filling with smoke on the M6 before flames coming through the dashboard :lol:

This is a far better Nissan R9UKE! (ahem...) Currently at £160. It'd better fetch more than that by time it ends or I shall be most grumpy.

You know, if I actually had a purpose for it, could afford it and had somewhere to put it, I'd happily have a Bluebird, can't fully understand why all of a sudden but they seem like such a sensible, logical choice - dirt cheap to buy and run, reliable and room for 5 adults, what's not to like? Sorry, I know that doesn't help you in the slightest but I don't understand the lack of interest. They've aged very well too when painted the right colour (like yours), the beige and bright blue ones less so.

Good luck with the sale etc.

Toleeedo

2.0 16v, this is a rare old thing and I understand these to be a cracking drive, mk3 golf engine and mk2 golf chassis.

That'll probably end up bummed for the engine like most. I used to have a Mk2 golf gti with one of these engines in and it was really very very fast and after I'd sorted various bushes out it stopped being terrifying and was a right laugh to drive irresponsibly. Not sure how much heavier the toledo body is but I bet it goes pretty well

Does anyone remember a MASSIVE SPACKTARD on R-R a year or two back - bought a standard one of these, (GTI model though) and did the full catalogue of 'penniless barry halfwit' mods, i.e. shopping list, kerbed-up bargain bucket ripspeed multi-fit rims, painted the bonnet black, made a terrible 'cold air feed kit' out of plant pots and old biros, all the usual stuff done by brain-dead twats basically. The he puts it back up for sale and got a load of grief for the terrible mods he'd done, but jut could not stop himself from fucking it up, so every few days he'd add to his for sale thread with 'check out my new chrome GTI letters from motorworld/wonky LED washer jets' or some such, unsurprisingly he never found a buyer and I suspect the car was weighed a long time ago now.

Just had a look at the dash mounted shifter on the Espace

Fairly certain this appeared on the bay about a year ago after suffering the WORST modifications i have EVER SEEN on a car of this type, the guy had tried to do some sort of NASCAR look or something, christ it was terrible. Anyway looks like someone has undone most of his good* work. thank fook.

I just love the Mazda 323f - really cool shape and different to any of it's contemporaries but they are just DOOMED to the worst kind of car afterlife it seems, often kev'd to pieces like this or run to within an inch of there life by people who have driving licenses as iffy as their work visas, sometimes life just isn't fair

I love those Legend coupes they're such a great shape.

When I was on that trip to Barcelona some guys had a 2.0 v6 Maxima with a slush box, which they constantly battled with to get it to go up hills, around corners and other general driving activities. It looked comfy though and I'm guessing the 3.0 should be a bit better.

Probably the same 2.0 V6 as the Xedos? It would figure as it's pretty dead too despite the misleading growl.

I've had both 2-litre and 3-litre QXs. The 2-litre's bark is very much worse than its bite and the engine struggles to haul such a large car around at anything other than a gentle trundle. A 2.2 Camry would leave it for dead.

The 3.0 is a completely different beast, goes like sh!t off a shovel and will embarrass many a far sportier vehicle on the right roads. Not all that much thirstier than the 2-litre either.

I'm not sure what's in the Xedos as Mazda made some odd engines around that time including the 1.8 v6 that went in the mx-3. The mx-6 had a 2.5 v6 but that was a Ford motor as found in the Probe I think.

The 2.0 Maxima has 140bhp, which isn't a great combo for a canal boat fitted with a slush box.

[Maxima] Probably the same 2.0 V6 as the Xedos?

Shirley not?

Maxima=Nissan

Xedos=Mazda

No connection via Ford, I'm sure.

Join the Scottish Autoshite Volvo society with this 7 seater job with 6 months tax and mot'd until September 2013 for £420.

The only downsides are it's on it's side and you'd need to sit down with a bit of paper and a pen to figure out what he's going on about in the advert.

I've just found his first attempt to upload pictures in another advert just down the page.
