I really hope somebody here gets the AS calendar star Allegro!

 

I'd absolutely love t have it back but I've spent all my money on buying the Simca so I simply can't afford it.

 

It is very solid, and great fun as a runaround, I really enjoyed it. If it gets engine raped and weighed in I'd be VERY sad. It's a nippy thing when it's running right and has bags of character.

 

I may even be persuaded to swap it for the beige Maestro... If anyone fancies a deal involving buying the Allegro then doing a swap, PM me.

I have known this car from 2009 , This is Olive the Allegro , named after the 1st owner ,the late Mrs Olive Doy :D ,

I helped a good friend of mine pull Olive out of a garage after a 12 year slumber , Olive then had doors and engine change, clutch work, plus many other repairs ,even the Hydragas units were changed.

This a very soid little car and would look great Re-Sprayed denim blue or Satin black or a trick custom paint Job 8)8)

It is a runner (seemingly) but needs a clutch and a battery. Depending on what clutch is like to do (are these rear engined or the motors difficult to access?) then it might not be too bad a buy.
