Bloody hell, this brings back memories. A mate bought one of these off my sister’s ex-boyfriend around 1987, with a gearbox stuck in third. Same colour too. I drove it back in third, he hadn’t passed his test yet. He replaced the gearbox, clutch and rear wheel arches. You could bring the car to a stop by pressing your feet against the passenger side bulkhead! Great right hand drive conversion trait, which I used to piss off my mate🙂

Great work everyone, there's four cars posted this morning that I'd genuinely consider buying. 

It's a good job that the 200 days of January stretch ahead, deterring me from thoughts of impure purchases.
